She is amazing but certain aspects of it (i.e. Jayne) are really overrated in hindsight.

Yeah, although there were a few things that annoyed me, the HM quality was fantastic, and I'd love to re-watch it

It hasn't been a full year yet.

Anyway no i guess. I think it just gets overrated cause it came after 15 and 16 which both get overwhelmingly negative reception

Neck and neck with BB13, had it not been for winner and the last 2/3 weeks it would have been the best C5 series

It seems better than it is because it followed BB15 and BB16 two of the worst seasons. BB13 is still the best civillian big brother from Ch5

It was just ok.

The winner was abysmal though. That normally doesn't bother me but Jason is one of the worst winners ever and the last two or three weeks were so dull. I pretty much stopped caring after Laura went.

Did BB13 have a housemate redemption better than Laura Carter? A proposal between two gay men? A reunion between a ginger and her former latin flame? A dementia raising awareness cheating spouse exposer goddess in the form of Jayne Connery? The first male evicted in Civ BB history? A messier edit than crowd noises being played over the Others screaming about racism or tea or whatever? A homophobic racist who beats women ("it was roleplay" appaz)?

No? No. Did BB17? Yes. I think it's clear which is the better series.
So yes, BB17 is a classic
