I re-watched now and understand why he really walked, the bullying of Shahbaz was vile, and George did at one time pick up his clothes, and soon after he felt very ashamed in what he had done, when shahbaz entered the room, everyone but George walked out, and I can't remember in what he said to shahbaz but it sounded like George wasn't going too kiss anyone's ass in there, the day shahbaz was removed from the house, Pete knew that there was something wrong with shahbaz, and later on George knew it, and I think he walked because he did not want to make friends with certain people in that house who treated another person so badly, the whole thing that he did not want fame, is not really a good reason on why he walked.

Interesting point, I think the Shahbaz bullying could have been part of his decision to leave (I think most people would want to get away from a situation like that or people like that), but I think the fame thing was probably true as well, like it was probably a combination of both those things, not wanting to be there because of the people in the house, and not having a reason to stay, ie. wanting to be famous. The Shahbaz thing might have been a catalyst in him realising that.

I'm pretty sure he took Shahbaz's clothes when he was in the pool AFTER he had remained in the living room with him

Not entirely sure someone with a username from the series after the one this thread is about can make fun of discussing past series

I think you are right. George did seem a decent sort and Grace, for all her pretentions to the upper class did not show much class when it came to bullying people like Shabaz.

He walked because he was egotistical enough to think that there was a real risk of him becoming a celebrity after BB despite being about as unremarkable as a housemate can get. He didn't give a **** about Shahbaz.

When he awkwardly walked out with Sam during the finale, wearing that hideous hobo scarf that was fashionable at the time >>>

Not to mention he walked seven days after Shahbaz did (longer than his entire stay), I'm sure if Shahbaz's treatment was the reason, he would've walked much earlier.

Wasn't George super posh? I always assumed he walked because he realized that being in a house full of those people acting disgustingly in various ways on national TV, probably wasn't going to do much for his social standing or his reputation in elite circles. He wanted a little taste of being around "common" people. Then went back to his polo matches and regattas!

He left because Grace chose to be romantically involved with Mikey and not him, and he couldn't handle that kind of rejection.

That's the truth, because Alf says so.

He left so that Grace and Mikey could begin their very happy life together.

George was a quiet bland guy . If he felt bad he should of said something , maybe he regretted nicking Shahbaz's clothes but he shouldn't of followed the gang like a sheep then :bored: .
