Everytime you see something dodgy? dangerous? potential criminal or violent?

What percentage of the time do you bother ringing and what percentage fo the time do you simply walk on by?

Why do you choose to ring or walk on by? Is it if you think someone will get hurt? do you avoid ringing because you fear getting caught up in the police web of making statements, interviews, court cases etc

Tbh I've never seen or heard anything that's 100% criminal so I've never had to call The Police.

If I called the police every time I saw something dodgy I would be calling them all day when I'm at work. I've also learned that there are several things that they just do not give a **** about.

I'd call them if I saw an innocent member of the public being attacked or threatened and that's about it. Drugs / people flogging stolen goods / vandalism and destruction of property... Just more hassle than it's worth. Same goes for... For want of a better term... "junkie on junkie" violence. They fight in the street ALL the time. Summer is worse, the heat seems to set them off. But it's best to just ignore it. Or y'know... Watch. :umm2:.

I've never been in a situation where I've felt the need to call the police but if I witnessed something potentially dangerous for public safety I would have to report it, if I didn't I wouldn't be able to rest in my bed.

Saw someone with special needs stealing toblerone bars, was like I would make a good security guard.

Phoned them a few times to report shoplifters but that's it, never really witnessed anything else to warrant it
