I some times meet my other half after she finishes work, I wait for her in a bus stop, there is a free standing letter box at the side of the bus stop.

Today got out of car as it was hot, was looking at the post box noticed a snail on the metal poll that the post box sits on, its not round but angled took a closer look at snail as it did not look right.

The snail was fake and on the base it had a small magnet but that's not all!

Where the magnet was underneath was a pull tab, pulled that and inside was a small scroll with lots of dates and random names going back over a year.

I put it back as I found it, so any one got any ideas what this is about?.

I don't know what its about! Sounds like a great find! You should have brought it home and investigated it, I have no rational guesses. Were they all female names? Could just be someones sex list.

basically like a treasure hunt/scavenger hunt for little things that are hidden (some have little prizes that you collect and/or replace, or just simply write your name on it to say you've been there and found it. it's pretty fun, haven't done it in aaaages though.
