Ok, so the fireman said it was his bosses that told them not to attend, if so then Arena management are not to blame.
Secondly, and more importantly, paramedics and ambulances were attending within minutes, police cars all over the place as well, the place wasn't on fire so I see absolutely no reason for his gripe.
Had it been on fire then fair enough, but all this unwarranted guilt is pointless.

Firefighters would be extremely important for search and rescue though. When there'sa bad crash the fire brigade are always there with tbe ambulance, alot of times beforehand

Yes, I can definitely see that, but I don't think they were needed in this case.
No fire, no trapped people, loads of experienced medics and police on the scene.
Had they of been needed I am sure they would have been given the go ahead.
I can't understand how he says he was half a mile away but a lady paramedic was begging for his help, doesn't quite add up.

To be fair as well....If there were further explosions that caused fires...Having all the firefighters on site at the arena could have been catastrophic. At the end of the day....This was an unprecedented event and I'm sure there was a fair bit of panic and confusion. This decision will not have been made to piss the firefighters off but for logistical reasons I'm sure
