A song accusing Theresa May of being a “liar” has reached tenth place in the download charts but radio stations have refused to play it.
The Big Top 40 show on Capital FM and Heart opted not to play the song, which is performed and produced by Captain Ska.
During the chart show, hosted by Marvin Humes and Kat Shoob, it was announced the song was in the tenth spot before the song in ninth position started to play.
The banger is currently number 2 on iTunes

So all other charitable endeavors that aren't related to the Manchester tragedy are now undeserving of support all of a sudden?
Also I'm pretty sure people could very easily buy both. It's not that difficult.

I'm not going to say "well why isn't there one about Corbyn" for the simple reason that Theresa is PM and this song is obviously against her and people have the freedoms to do whatever they want however it shouldn't just be again ONE politician when I bet you if Corbyn was in power we would have just as many problems that I could easily write a song about so maybe there should be a song about all politicians from all sides of the spectrum about how they are ALL liars.

Some politicians have met with the IRA mostly conservative strangely, but that's not being accepted for some reason... Would you like the links to the times and dates of those meeting again?

We all know politicians like telling lies
Big ones, little ones, porky pies
Saying they're strong, and stable, won't disguise
We're still being taken for a ride
Nurses going hungry, schools in decline
I don't recognize this broken country of mine
They're having a laugh, let's show them the door then
Cut the rich, not the poor

Are the 'One More Time' sales even going to charity? I think Adam's suggestion that a charity single isn't worth if it isn't for Manchester to be quite flawed.
I personally agree that the song shouldn't be played, I'm pretty sure it's in breach of partiality laws that broadcasters have to abide to in times of general elections plus it's ****ing woeful.

I'm sure I saw someone on Twitter say they'd scoured both the BBC's election impartiality guidance and Ofcom's rules and found nothing pertaining to political songs.
They did this with Ding Dong... after Thatcher's death too. It of course wouldn't be appropriate for either song to be playlisted, but the remit of the official chart is to play the most bought/streamed songs of the week. If you don't do that, the show is pointless. Mind you, the chart is so short these days they can get away with it.
Kizzy

Well with ding dong I accept that, it was not appropriate but this is, it's the democratic will of the people that downloaded that song :hehe:
