We have half a dozen shows aimed at singers so they need to ban them from the show as it is ruining the chances of a talented variety act

I think non conventional singing acts are fine, but yes solo singers should be culled. Especially if X Factor is going back to it's 14+ roots.

Singers will always get put on because they're more ratings friendly than your dance troupes or your mime acts.

The X Factor for the singing world also knows that Diva singers, boybands, and joke acts pull in the most viewers going into the lives sadly a more interesting lineup on these shows might not nesscessarily draw in the masses immediately.

Pop singers who wouldn't last 2-3 weeks in X Factor, yeah. But you've got to remember the prize isn't really a record contract they've just got to be able to perform at the RV. So all your kid singers/classical acts will always be there because it's something Queeny would like, unfortunately

Yes, I think many of the singers could take their chance on X Factor or the voice.
