ITV move BGT Final forward to Saturday due to Ariana Grande clash

Britain's Got Talent has moved its finale from Sunday night to avoid a clash with Ariana Grande's star-studded Manchester benefit concert.

ITV bosses have switched the show's finale to Saturday night after US popstar Ariana confirmed she would be returning to Manchester on Sunday to perform a concert in aid of those affected by the terror attack last week.

The Britain's Got Talent Final will now take place live on Saturday June 3rd at 7.30pm.

Announcing the schedule change, a rep for ITV said: "Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert is bringing artists and the public together, and will raise funds for the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund.

"ITV and Britain's Got Talent have no desire to distract from this important cause, so we have taken the decision to move the Britain's Got Talent Final from Sunday night."

The British Soap Awards has now moved from Saturday night and will instead air on Tuesday June 6th at 8pm.

Do people really watch Concerts on TV though? Only time I ever did was maybe the Hackney Weekend Kanye/Jay Z one tbh. It's a great cause, but I can't see people watching it much after they have donated.

I think a lot of people are going to watch since it's an amazing cause and it's a good tribute to all the **** that happened. People watched the Diamond Jubilee. Concerts....
