They were alright. We had 2 guys, one was really old (probably about 60 but looked older, he's still teaching there today though and this was over 10 years ago so maybe he wasn't even 60), and a young guy in his 30's. They had like a lost property box kind of thing for if you forgot your PE kit, so you'd have to take a shirt/shorts/pumps etc from that.. was much more preferable to just bunk the class if you'd forgotten it

I had 3 different PE teachers over my time in secondary school, 2 women and 1 man, they were all pretty nice tbf

I had two over the course of the 5 years. An older one who I got along with and was fair to his students and a 30 year old scouser who just made you play football every lesson and detested you if you dared criticise it.

So, needless to say, I barely had my kit when he was teaching (to the point where he'd ask to look in my school bag to prove I didn't physically have it with me) so the resentment was mutual.

I mean, if I don't want to do PE I'm not going to pack a kit and then pretend not to have it, I'm gonna leave it at home pal. :hee:

But then one lesson he forced me to do it in my uniform (just take my blazer off) and it poured it down with rain so when I was sat in Science afterwards I was just making a puddle on the floor. He got reprimanded by the Head for it. :hee:

It was still there when I was at school but that was 10 years ago.

In Year 7 one of the teachers who was a Lesbian left because of the homophobic abuse people gave her, including staff (apparently).
Last Year in Year 10, the swimming teacher got involved in a fight between 2 pupils outside of school where he 'grabbed one of the girls' neck' and he got suspended (the other PE teachers say that he went on retirement or decided to left but we know it was bs) He was a bit of a paedophile if im honest as he walked through the changing rooms without any warnings when he had a girls only class.
This Year another one of the PE teachers got suspended for harrassment but i'm not too sure about the story. I haven't seen him for a few months and I haven't got a clue if he'll be coming back, I hope not, he was very nasty and agressive

We had about 6 different sports teachers (one did swimming, couple did PE, couple did rugby, one did football, etc) and they were all fine except one who told me to "run it off" when I tripped, gashed my knee open and needed 4 stitches :inamood:

Others were all lovely and were assigned to us for the school trips abroad so were a bit less uptight than the other teachers when it came to activities. Got the impression they could easily have let a couple of us drown in the Rhine though.
