Peter Sallis, the voice of Wallace in Wallace and Gromit, has died

This has just been announced here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-40165443) that Peter Sallis who starred in Last of the Summer Wine and more recently gave the voice to Wallace, the inventor and owner long suffering Gromit .

He was 96
