There's reports breaking that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of IS, has been killed in a Syrian Airstrike.
It doesn't seem to have been 100% definitely proven yet but it's looking promising.
The guy's a scumbag and his death would be a great thing but it's doubtful that it would change much because there's always another person waiting to step into his position. The next one could be even more extreme.

Good bloody riddance. Hope he gets some tired old prostitutes rather than the much awaited pre-pubescent teen virgins. Just rewards.
Hope it proves to be true.

He isn't invincible - it has to be true sometime, hopefully this is it.
The last I heard he had scurried off in to hiding. I don't believe for a second that he is in a conflict area at the moment unless he was trapped somewhere and couldn't get out. Heres hoping though

That's the thing, we'll never get to the root of the problem

You can't drop a bomb on an ideal.
You can't drop a bomb on an ideal.
..no you can't drop a bomb on an ideal, Dezzy and as much as I wouldn't mourn his death if it were true..I also can't ever celebrate it either...I don't know whether it's right or wrong to feel like that but I just can't see it as being that much different to any extreme terrorist supporter, celebrating the deaths of those they kill..it just feels that we're becoming a little step close to becoming more like the thing we are so opposed to../I don't know if that's right, my thoughts aren't always with it...

How long until Corbyn calls it a tragedy, holds a vigil for him, and shares platforms with his friends?
