BIG BROTHER’S LITTLE BROTHER RETURNS TO CHANNEL 4
TX: Channel 4, Weekdays at 6pm; Sundays at lunchtime
E4, Weekdays at 8pm and 10.30pm; Sundays at 7pm

Big Brother’s fanzine show, Big Brother’s Little Brother returns to television screens on Monday 26 May, bursting with exclusive interviews, gossip and behind-the-scenes action, LIVE from the Big Brother nerve-centre. BBLB, which is once again presented by DERMOT O’LEARY, will be aired every weekday on Channel 4 at 6pm and Sundays at lunchtime, with another chance to see it on E4 at 8pm and every Sunday at 7pm.

Once more, BBLB will be Big Brother’s official hot-bed of information, announcing and reacting to all the latest breaking news and gossip from the house, as soon as it happens. This year rolling tickers will scroll across the screen, keeping fans constantly up-to-date with the latest news, gossip and opinion.

As always, BBLB is the show for fans to air their views and will this year be fully interactive, giving viewers access all areas to BBLB. Fans can get in touch with Dermot by text, phone or email and for the first time ever, viewers will also be able to interact with Dermot by pressing the red button on their digital TV remote controls. There will also be daily opportunities for fans to give their opinions and an official weekly poll will let them have a say about whom they think will be evicted that week. Fans may even get the chance to influence what happens in the house.

Relatives, friends and workmates will be on hand every day to dish the dirt on the housemates, while celebrities and journalists will also drop into the studio to give their opinions on what’s happening in the house. A variety of experts, from psychologists to psychics and flirting experts to handwriting analysts will also give their opinions live in the studio each day.

Viewers can expect regular themed shows across the week. Mondays will provide teasers from that day’s nominations, while Dermot reveals who our expert panel think will be up for the public vote, in our weekly eviction prediction.

Tuesday’s show will be dedicated to the latest nominations, with the first TV announcement of who’s up for eviction that week and discussions about who should go. Dermot will then profile the nominated housemates, what they have contributed to the house, their reactions, their behaviour towards each other, as well as their body language in the house following the announcement.

Fridays are devoted to eviction nights, with a big countdown to the evening eviction shows. During Friday’s BBLB, Dermot will go behind-the-scenes to report on all the action in the studio as Big Brother gears up for eviction night, and chat to DAVINA MCCALL as she prepares for the big event. Previously evicted housemates will also feature on the show, as well as family and friends of the nominated housemates and celebrity fans, to find out who they think will be leaving the house that night.

The extended one-hour Sunday show on T4 will give fans exclusive access to the Big Brother house as Dermot interviews the latest evicted housemate about their experience. This will be the first television interview since eviction night, and will cover the eviction, their first days of freedom, and their initial reactions to life back in the outside world. Plus former BB4 evictees will be on hand to help them settle back into life outside the Big Brother house.

Big Brother’s Little Brother starts Monday 26 May and can be seen on Channel 4 every Monday to Friday from 6pm until 6.30pm and Sundays at lunchtime. Viewers will have another chance to catch BBLB on E4 between 8pm and 8.30pm and 10.30pm-11pm, weekdays and from 7pm until 8pm on Sundays.

It's great that BBLB is back on terrestrial TV. I remember being so envious when it was only on Sky.

The format for this year seems pretty good too. Can't wait for it all to start.
