Need Doctor Hamster and Doctor Brown Bear?

Dr Brown Bear is the doctor wheras Doctor Hamster is the vet.Surely all characters and pets would just visit Doctor Hamster as she is the vet and all characters are animals leaving the role of Doctor Brown Bear unnecessary?
