Fantastic news. Huge respect to the brave Men and Women who battled them and those who sacrificed their lives to stop the spreading of their poison. The whole world thanks you.

No babes :(
It means they have been defeated in Iraq.
Oh, it's still amazing though, they'll be stopped once and for all one day!

Oh yeah... it's hopeful news. Especially welcome when there's so little around.

At least it sounds like the end of the Iraqi half of the IS caliphate.

Brilliant news for the country and a huge step forward.
In terms of terrorism though, and of course it's Debbie Downer time, it's important to remember that the vast majority of attacks are not legitimately linked to "literal" ISIS... this just tends to be the label that is attached to all or most Islamic extremism in the west, because it's "the one that we know". The fall of ISIS in the middle east should hopefully reduce the number of attacks in the west overall but to be honest it's unlikely to have much impact on "lone-wolf" / small cell attacks carried out in the supposed name of Islam.
For Iraq itself, though, hopefully this really can be the start of rebuilding for them.

Yeah it's great that they don't hold any territory in Iraq and a large part of their system has been diminished.
Iraqi forces need to fortify the territory they've claimed back though because you can guarantee counter attacks and maybe small territory grabs. Also there may be more attacks in Europe as ISIS will possibly try and hit easier soft targets in revenge.
Hopefully this means we can focus more of our air resources in Syria now and try for some victories there.
