Two or three seem to be fans of him, production likely knew that. They would have asked potential HGs who their past favourites were.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not denying that it's anything but a meet and greet photo. But it's still awfully convenient for Paul to have quite a few fans of his in the house just like every other returning player.

It's not surprising to me that Paul has some fans.

I don't remember where I read this a few years ago, but many houseguests from different seasons know each other, and said houseguests get into the show thanks to those contacts witth ex-houseguests.
And this is more true if you take into account the fact there is returnee houseguests almost every year. The hardcore BB fans is a small world.
So I'm not really surprised they know each other.
