We're with Virgin Media here and it's honestly the worst service I've ever experienced :worry: There are always problems with it, it's slow af and sometimes it's down for like days until you call them and tell them there's a problem. (This happens in 3 different houses that I know of so I don't think it's just here)

At home we're with BT and they're alright, not the fastest connection but I think that's more so due to location than service, rarely disconnects or has down-time.

We are on Virgin and its slow and keeps cutting out so we have to restart it.

we want Sky but they ask for far to much and already have like £100 a month off of us as it is

BT fibre optic, the connection is decent and reliable but they are massively over priced. They were the only provider even offering ADSL2+ when we moved here, BT monopoly so we didn't really have a choice... It was BT or slow broadband. There's more choice now that fibre is in the area but we're locked in a 2 year contract with BT until January. Boooo.

Tbf I'll probably just try to haggle a discount when we're out of contract, can't be arsed switching really and like I said, it is a reliable connection, dont think it's been down at all since we moved here 3.5 years ago...

Basic internet with Sky, not the fastest but it works for what I need it for. Also never cuts out so at least it's reliable and cheap

Virgin are the best. If there's a fault it's because you're probably in a queue of connections. Idk how to explain it but here:

If there were like 8 people on your street/block who all had virgin they would most likely put you all on the same connection, and it goes in order so the connection speed will vary on your placing, so if you're in 7th place it will reflect on your connection whereas being 1st or 2nd is fine. I used to be on a connection with 5 other people and I was last (6th place) so they created a new connection and put me in first place and my speed almost doubled. Sounds complicated but if you mention this to them they will understand and might set you up a new one, the process only takes like 30 minutes as well.

Virgin Media for years since NTL, never had a problem/issue with them.

XL package, talked down to £37 a month.

Virgin Media again and it's been a blessing.

For a whole year I had to use BT and it was a nightmare, constant disconnections, struggling to cope with any bad weather, and I couldn't even use NowTV because of it.:fist:

Here in the States, I have Xfinity [pronounced ex-finity] (Comcast's Cable, Phone, and ISP brand).
