Makosi was the alpha of BB6 lol. Everything revolved around her

That's actually really true.

I think he means alpha as in the leader of the house?

Hmm maybe Dan for BB14? Or Gina

Jason.

I'd say Dan was the alpha of BB14

Cal.

I think Dan was the alpha of BB14. Gina was a tad too much on the sidelines.

I did but thinking about it - Makosi had a lot of people under her control. She also controlled the mood in the house and how people felt.

If I'm wrong about Cameron and Craig, then Helen is the only alpha that has ever won.

I thought of Saskia too as she had the other side on a leash but she didn't stay as long as Makosi did to make as big of an impact

I think Lateysha was actually the alpha of BB17, wasn't she? I don't think Jackson was an alpha, I think I recall Alex being the one the house turned to in times of needs (LMAO at that).

Yeah actually thinking about it both sides of BB6 were led by females in Makosi and Saskia. Both sides of BB15 were led by females as well in Helen and Ashleigh - but overall Helen ruled the house.

BB18's was led by Sukhvinder at first I think and then Lotan up until his ejection and now it's Tom but I doubt it'll remain that way for long because Sam will either take the reigns if the Rose Cottage vs. Thorn Cottage divide continues, or Sue or Chanelle will take over the house.

I don't think BB3 had one tbh. Definitely not Lee anyway. On paper he was your stereotypical alpha male but in the house he barely did anything of note, and was always in the background.

And that is the most anyone has ever written about Lee from BB3

Jason.

Mikey was too dull to be an alpha. I agree with Grace but if anything, Sezer was more an alpha male than Mikey ever was during the first few weeks when the Plastics were dominant. And he made more an impact too.

Lisa was probably the alpha for BB10

Could Aisleyne be classed as the alpha after she returned to the house? The show pretty much revolved around her from that point on and Lea and Nikki (the remaining original strong women) were *intimidated* (I don't want to say that because Aisleyne didn't 'rule' by intimidation) by her as Aisleyne reduced them both to tears multiple times. She also had the newbies wrapped around her until Nikki's return when Nikki kind of assumed alpha?

Lmao I literally said Lee because 'on paper', he's your stereotypical alpha male.

Richard was a bit of an alpha at times too imo

I haven't seen BB12 but for completions sake - Jay seems like the 'on paper' alpha male?

BB7 had quite a lot of alphas actually if you think about it. No wonder it was so bitchy.

Even Pete was in a way, like all the women in the house were obsessed with him and fighting over him.

Yeah Jason was only ever a leader of 3 people at most, and you can hardly say he controlled Victor really. Vanessa maybe but the rest seemed at odds with him/Victor on more than one occasion.

I'd say Michelle ahead of Nadia though considering she obviously had Stuart under the thumb in addition to friendships with Marco, Emma, Shell and Victor.

I don't get how it could have been Nadia or Jason, Dan literally was friends with everyone and he and Shell ran the house

Yes. Dan was the peacemaker for a lot of them.

BB7 had a couple, Grace was one but Lea and Richard both became alphas at different points.

As for Lea being alpha, you have to be kidding, she was a mess.

Big brother 7 is probably the greatest series for these kind of house dynamics.

First off Richard took it upon himself to be the leader, but after he had that argument with Imogen, Sezer stepped in and challenged him, and Richard was reduced to tears, and his reign was over. But then the public voted Sezer out a few days later, and Richard regained the crown as the King.

But the female leader was Grace who was only twenty years old, but was the mother/Queen of the house, she had to comfort people like Nicky who was actually four years older than her. But after a quiet first few days in there, Aisleyne decided to make her move to challenge for Queen, and when Grace was evicted, Aisleyne became Queen of the house.

There's a real interesting moment just before Sezer was evicted, when Richard is planning to get back his reign over Sezer, and he tells Aisleyne to become the leader of the opposition and he will back her.

Watch from about 11.20 to about 12.20
This is the episode where Sezer was evicted

Bump now BB18 is over.

I'd say Chanelle was the alpha of the house in BB18.
