Lunar eclipse

Thanks for the link, Starlet - I hadn't realised there was a lunar eclipse tonight. :thumbs:

But what an unearthly hour for it to happen!!

Not sure whether to stay up very late, or get up very early! :shocked:

I've seen this once before it's good, it's like watching the moon going through it's New Moon, Quarter Moon, Half Moon Full Moon, stages only instead of a month, it happens in a few hours and it makes the moon seem red coloured. Thing is when I saw it, it was at a decent hour. Too many coulds about as well tonight. :conf:

I'd stay up if I wasn't working tomorrow, I like that sort of thing!


When we had the solar eclipse, Graeme and I were on holiday in Scotland, so we thought "wouldn't it be cool to go to Loch Ness for the eclipse and see if Nessie comes up to see it!"

So there we were, sitting on the banks of the Loch, waiting for all to darken......


and we waited........


and we waited........



and finally heard people saying it was over!


Apparently we were too far North to see it!


If we'd have stayed at home we'd have seen it all!


So much for flaming holidays!!!!!!!!!

Well, its meant to be happening now but i cant even find the moon, i think its sodded off behind the clouds for good, shame :(
