Seems like a balanced, fair and mature article from an unbiased source. Good find.

Are you two going to form some sort of official team-up group like The Avengers? "Anticorbyns Assemble!" :joker:

Can't you discuss the contents of the article instead of bullying the poster? Or is that your way of wriggling out of discussing the contents?

I love that you don't let anyone get to you brillo, I do feel you are ganged upon sometimes , one reason I left serious debates people are far too hostile , especially if you aren't a Corbyn supporter,so good for you,for standing your ground,:wavey: and good article btw.

It was a terrible loss, I would say SDs has at least 90% fewer clapping emojis.

I also find it hilarious that people are talking about ganging up when, at my count, on this thread it's four vs one :joker:.

And yet somehow you're still hopelessly outnumbered

Also; what article?

Thanks Kaz - I thought it was interesting, although it sometimes feels like some sort of crime to post anti-Corbyn threads on here. What is wrong with a bit of healthy competition, especially after all the hate May threads, I think mine are pretty tame in comparison to some of them!

Indeed you need to develop a thick skin on here if not on the left - a lesson learned the hard way I think. :hehe:

Yes, it is, and that's why these ridiculous threads need to be put into context quickly. I don't particularly enjoy it either, despite Brillo's claims I'm not even a Corbyn fan. I'm not even particularly a "leftist". I *am* interested in hearing actual debates and discussions on any topic.

I am opposed to these agenda driven trash threads cluttering up the entire forum. So yes, enough is enough. Cut it out Brillo.

Just to remind you this is BB forum not some high brow intellectual site for those that wish to indulge in 'deep' discussion - you just seem to want to make everyone aware of your perceived higher IQ all the time. It has become quite boring.

You do produce some interesting, and sometimes witty, posts but that does not mean we are all obliged to produce the kind of in-depth discussion you claim you are looking for. A BB forum seems a strange place to come if that is really what you want.

I post for me, not you.

Yes,I feel people are trying to shut anti Corbyn posts down before they even start, but it's all go for the anti May threads, the forum is for ALL tastes and opinions not just for some, does it matter how many threads you make:shrug: if there were no threads there would be no forum, if you don't like the anti Corbyn threads just pass them by,it's not hard to do.

All fair enough in theory but, even with the forum being what it is, it does have different sections, and this section IS (supposedly) for more high-brow, deeper, intellectual discussions. Maybe that's hoping for too much. But if you want to post trashy clickbait blog articles... Well... They're not really serious debates, or news, are they? More suited to General Chat maybe. Or Chat and Games. :umm2:

They are 'agenda driven trash threads' in your opinion and perhaps in others opinions. But then there are other members of this forum who think they are well worth reading and want to see them. This forum is for everyone, not just you. So nobody is going to 'cut out' anything just because you say so, I'm afraid.

If anyone ACTUALLY wanted to have a balanced, level headed discussion about Corbyn like I said I would be all for it! I'm not a "Corbynista". I have plenty of increasing criticisms of the man himself. I find the idea that he's a "flawless saviour" as ridiculous as the idea that he's a closet terrorist demon.

But all we get are... Well... Threads like this. One-sided angry rants and nonsense from some random bloke's blog being applauded like it's fascinating investigative journalism. It's a joke. It's not worth engaging with.

I'm past caring being viewed as a liar.

Good attempt at undermining the articles I post but as I have said previously they come from many different sources, I don't just stick to the same 1-2 like-minded sources that some do. I do at least sometimes try to get a fairly balanced view on certain subjects unlike some.

My threads are generally based on current interest subjects such as politics, terrorism and a few others to express an OPINION on these, like most others. They are as valid as any other thread. It really does feel, rightly or wrongly, that you are throwing one big tantrum because you don't agree with my opinions.

I feel as strongly as you do on certain subjects and am as entitled as you to express my opinions even if you don't approve of the way I present them. I view it as intellectual snobbery. Just because I choose not to indulge in 'deep' discussion does not mean I cannot. If I genuinely could not what would your insulting digs at your opinion of my level of intelligence say about you?

I didn't say your eyes aren't open OR call you a liar, I said you have tunnel vision. By which I mean you are so focused on Corbyn as soon as the name is mentioned, that any and all other issues go out of the window. You won't even give them a second's consideration. You will denounce anything vaguely related to Corbyn, and applaud anything about anyone other than Corbyn, because your mind is totally saturated with dislike for one individual. You claim to have criticisms of others too, such as the DUP and the Conservatives, but you refuse to engage in them because - I would guess - you worry that doing so would dilute the anti-Corbyn sentiment. You bring anti-Corbyn rhetoric into threads that have nothing TO DO with Corbyn in the first place. You are incapable of taking him out of the equation.

Tunnel vision.

I don't think you're a liar, I just think you've been consumed.

Honestly Brillo, if this is you with a "balanced view" I can't imagine you without one.

I would also point out that I have never said one word about "your intelligence", OR my own... This sounds like a shoulder chip to me.

I don't think anyone thinks that Jet. You are passionate in your views which is a good thing. There are many passionate in their views, on both sides of the political divide, but sometimes people have a problem with an equally passionate opinion when it differs from their own.
