That's awful if true, like how much of a jobsworth do you have to be to watch an elderly disabled man suffer when you can quite easily help.

Ryan air are denying it...

A Ryanair spokesman denied the claims and insisted oxygen was indeed provided – which Edgar and Anthony strongly refute.

The spokesman said: “A customer on this flight from East Midlands to Faro on July 2 became ill shortly after boarding, prior to departure.

“Cabin crew provided assistance and offered first aid and oxygen.

“However, the customer declined assistance and offloaded themselves from the aircraft, before the flight departed to Faro.”

Obviously I don't know who's telling the truth but Ryanair's version seems a lot more difficult to believe.

got to be a humans right issue here....is anyone regulating these crooks anymore?
Id sue the individual involved....in america they have better laws on some things, including the good samaritan law, where someone can be prosectued for ignoring the serious suffering of someone

[The pair then needed to disembark the plane as Edgar took a turn for the worse.

Edgar, a retired railway worker, fumed: “It was a very frightening experience. I have problems with my lungs and if I can’t breathe, I panic.]

I stayed in Easy Hotel
and got £5 reduced
to not have a window.

I paid for my TV Remote
had my SkyNewsHD
Had my own ipad and laptop
window not needed

You want a window - pay extra
cheap hotels on the Easy Group
same principal as that airline

I feel like you're missing a point that others have picked up on. If you felt as if you were ill, or dying, and that it was medically vital that you should sit beside a window (terrible example, working with what I got), the cheap hotel would put you beside a window, because your wellbeing is above a bit of cash in their list of priorities.. you'd think Ryanair would have a similar 'I dont want you to die today' policy.

It might sound heartless, but I would have insisted he wasn't fit enough to fly and made him vacate the plane.
What the hell was his son thinking of by letting him fly with his health issues.
Had he been mid-air and gasping his last breath then I would say he should have been assisted medically.

Easy Hotels
have even cheaper central rooms
No Window
All rooms are small.
All have double beds
All have same Shower/Sink /Bog

There was a American Family
upset sitting on a stair way
did not know what they had bought

So if you want or need a Window
Pay the £5 extra or whatever they charge now

There is a reason they are cheap to get from a to b, passengers pay for their own extras rather than other passengers footing the bill, if his Dad was that I'll he should have pre paid rather than being a tight git

Ryanair are so s**t but I still fly with them cos they're just so much cheaper than everyone else  Their latest thing is when you book if you don't pay for seat selection they will sit you separately to whoever you're flying with and usually put you both in middle seats to try and get you to pay. They can **** off though, all I need is a book and I don't care where they sit me :hee: Crap if you have young kids though, they have you over a barrel then

I was on a Ryan air flight where a passenger was taken ill (turns out they had drunk their duty free whisky mid flight) and was having breathing difficulties. She was given oxygen and everyone had to stay seated with seatbelts on for entire flight
