JADE IN BOTTLE ATTACK HORROR
24/04/07
BIG Brother bully Jade Goody was caught up in a horrific glassing in a packed nightclub, a jury heard yesterday.
A singer she was dancing with was slashed with a broken bottle in the face and neck.
Boyband member Jerome Simeon told police he felt “blood running down his neck like a warm shower”.
Simeon, 22, was left with a vivid six-inch (15cm) scar on his jaw and neck after the attack in the VIP section of Sky club in Ware, Herts, where he had just met Jade. The fallen reality TV star had been at the nightspot with colleagues from her former beauty salon Ugly’s.
Trouble allegedly flared between Simeon and another clubber when drink was spilled.
As Jade, 25, watched, the other man’s wife, hairdresser Zoe Sigorney, 28, grabbed a beer bottle and hit Simeon over the head with it, a jury at St Albans Crown Court was told. Then she struck him across the face with the
broken remains, the court heard.
Ian Wade, prosecuting, said of Jade, who will give evidence today: “This occurred at a time in her life when her star was higher in its ascendancy than it is now.
“She witnessed what happened and will give her account in her own style. We all know her life has gone through turmoil and knowing her as you do you will consider her evidence in that light.
“Mr Simeon is of mixed race. If what is said against Miss Goody is true it doesn’t appear to have stopped her coming forward to assist a member of that community.”
Sigorney, 28, of Peterborough, claims she was not the one who hit Simeon in February last year and denies a charge of wounding.

I think that the headline should have read. "Boyband member Jerome Simeon in bottle attack". The poor guy got glassed and all the Daily Star want to do is make it all about Jade Goody.

PR sob story working overtime for Miss Piggy.
Gotta have sympathy though for the poor guy who got glassed.
Seen it happen, and as far as I'm concerned sticking a glass into someones face and neck, and they survive is attempted murder. there too many seriously important arteries in the vicinity to make it any other

That headline is misleading. When I saw this post I thought something had happened to Jade yesterday. I was gravely concerned.

Jade Goody in Bubonic Plague Nightmare
Jade Goody lives in an area that was ravaged by bubonic plage 400 years ago. Jade says she was worried about her children and has had sleepless nights about it for months, ever since accidentally switching onto the discovery channel whilst watching a rerun of Jades Salon.

I emphasise the point (6)
"Jade was totally innocent in all of this"
This is why I made those points. The Daily Star story is making something out of nothing here.
Like I said, a pointless story and certainly no usefulness.....

I must point out how MrLuvaLuva showed concern over Jade Goody's well-being.
I am also glad she is okay!! a little shocked, I can well imagine. I hope that none of her clothes were damaged by blood stains.
Jade doesn't buy her clothes in Jumble sales you know.

JADE: I'M NOT LYING
By Vanessa Allen 25/04/2007
SHAMED Jade Goody yesterday denied lying about her evidence on an alleged attack on a black man to prove she was not a bigot.
Jade, 25, told jurors she saw Zoe Hailstone slash a fellow nightclub reveller with a bottle and yell "*******ing n****rs".
Hailstone's lawyer Bill Emlyn Jones told her: "My suggestion is you lied. It was at a time when you could have done with a bit of public sympathy." Jade, at the centre of this year's Big Brother race row, hit back: "I didn't have to give a statement. It's not like at the time I was being called a racist .
This happened over a year ago. I witnessed something and that's why I'm here, because I've got morals."
The mum-of-two said she first met Jerome Simeon, 22, at the venue in Ware, Herts, and danced with him before a fight left him with a 7in throat wound.
Prosecutors say he clashed with Hailstone's husband Wayne before she repeatedly smashed a bottle over his head.
Jade said she saw Hailstone, 28, "smashing him continuously when he was on the floor and shouting, '*******ing n****rs'.
"She was bashing away. It was a horrible thing to watch."
The TV star added: "She was quite with rough looking. That was my impression - geezer bird."
