It was originally meant for cinema but from what I can gather they needed more money to film more scenes (and more kills) so set up a deal with DirectTV.

Talk is that Lionsgate have no faith in the film as slashers haven't done well in theaters recently :worry:

It's probably because slashers haven't been the craze for like over 20 years now. It was remakes and now it's supernatural.

Yeah by recently I meant last few years :laugh:

Final Girls was a comedy slasher that was meant to do well and get a full cinema release but the studio dumped it on dvd even after it did really wellat festivals. It is seen it as a flop even though it deserved better. Most get released direct to dvd because of Scream 4 being such a dissapointment for the studio :(

This was bad but I expected even worse. I still give it like a 5/10 though and that's a shame for a TCM movie.

Kinda sad that this is part of the TCM series. I even enjoyed the 2013 one and the two before that were amazing. :(
