I don't know how to feel about it
It's as if they've tried to get the aesthetic of how BB's early eyes, notably BB3 and BB4, looked like, but they've still gone about it in a way that makes it look tacky with the outdated gloss and 3D-ism of the whole eye. It's a step in the right direction but they keep making the same mistakes. If it was a flat eye underneath that it would look better and it would make it folllow suit of the early series and then it would be basic in a GOOD way rather than this. They haven't gone about it very well. Eh.

Well to me I enjoyed the design aspect to the show as they'd make a big deal out of it so yes, to me it does matter.
C5 don't have a shortage of ideas and there's still plenty of ideas they could be implementing. They just simply can't be arsed anymore, it's just cheap and cheerful.
BB10 still has a good eye but I was more referring to the early era of BB where they eyes were unique, had a sort of illusion aspect and were almost hypnotic.
Like, to most people, this eye is actually Green and Orange. It isn't, it's Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. It's an illusion.

There's nothing wrong with some consistency but even so they made all the branding different each time, nowadays we get timestamps shoved into the eye and have been doing for a long while.
Channel 5 logos are tacky and tragic. I liked BB15 because they actually tried to spruce up the branding but the series it's affiliated with is trash. BB17 had a good eye but terrible graphics. It's all faux-glitzy and they've overloaded it with the font Gotham so much that it's basically a glittery turd branding wise.

I don't really agree, BB17 was only last year and that was one of my absolute favourite eyes including C4. And CBB8/ BB12 was their very first eye and that felt more like a placeholder template than a finished product so I definitely don't think it's a question of them starting well and getting worse over the years.

I disagree. Last years eye was my all time favourite, and they've definitely ALL been better than the first C5 eye. The fact this is only the second time they've ever given summer CBB it's own eye shows that if anything, they do care. It took C4 until the last series to give CBB its own eye! 4 months after the main series already used it every year!

Nah I'd have to disagree... CBB8s/BB12s eye was awful and progressively they have improved. Obviously there's certain eyes which haven't been great but overall, yeah

C5 eyes are very hit and miss. This year's clipart eye was horrible, last year's was one of the best. They definitely haven't progressively been getting worse - especially since the first C5 eye is the lowest of the low.

They've said the house 'will become a high end retreat inspired by celeb hotel hang-outs' which sounds cool and matches the eye... but I don't see how they'll turn a cake shop, thorn cottage, garden themed living area and garden full of village shop fronts into a high end hotel theme......

I agree! I could understand it if they had until the 4th of Aug like planned but bringing it forward to the 1st leaves them with 3 days. I dont see how they are going to do it unless they just change the shop faces and re carpet with new sofas and a lick of paint.

I like how the eye is basic compared to the last two, and a throwback to the early BBUK eyes - while still supporting white a detailed pattern.

The graphics will look amazing, and the outdoor set and stuff! Each eye since the new set has just been multicoloured so it'll be nice if they have a gold theme now
