Highlights Show: Day 2

1. The Rule of Three task began yesterday with the nomination of five housemates.
2. The Rule of Three task will continue until Wednesday, but will finally end on Wednesday’s eviction with the person who gets the third least votes to save being eternally nominated. Today is Sunday. This task will incur a number of gruelling mini tasks that the housemates will need to compete in to gain points and win the shopping budget. 3. The number of points required is disclosed until the end of the task.
4. Today’s task is as follows: three housemates need to volunteer to take themselves to the Asylum where they will remain locked up for 5 hours (11:05AM to 16:05PM). The room is plain white with no natural light, no furniture and just a hard white floor. Housemates can get out at any point saying ‘Get me out!’. If successful and everyone completes the mini task, housemates will incur 5 points. Pete, Jake and Coolio nominated themselves for the task, and passed. Therefore the house currently stands on 5 points.

Bonds between Liz, Shilpa and Yvette are already very strong and they have a group hug in the living room.
Harry, Jennifer and Cher are both already good friends from the singing industry and get on well.
Joe and Jessie speak a lot from both starring on EastEnders.
Aggie bonds with Yvette.
The House as a whole hates Michael for his sexist and confrontational views.
Matt remembers Yvette from when they both met each other at a TV function.
Coolio gets along with everyone and talks to everyone, but mainly sticks around the ‘singers’.
Jake, Pete and Coolio already made friends during the ‘Rule of 3 Asylum’ mini task.

13:03PM: Everyone is getting on well, and having fun. However, Michael Buerk is causing a stir after his sexist comments (“Go make me a sandwich love”) to MP Liz Kendall offended her. This led to an argument with Liz, Jessie, Shilpa, Matt, Yvette and Harry vs Michael. Michael ended up with a formal warning from Big Brother for sexism and intimidating behaviour. Michael discusses possibly walking as he can’t stand “these sensitive and vile people”.

19:04PM: Michael is sat with Jake smoking in the garden talking to Jake about his fellow housemates. He said “I can’t wait to get these b******s up for nomination, they are doing my *********g nut in. Especially that Liz, she can’t take a *********g joke, what the *******k did I say wrong? I can’t wait to *********g get them all up and win the show.”. Jake refuses to comment and goes back to the group and tells them about this, Liz goes to the diary room and vents to Big Brother: “I can’t believe he has it in for me already. I just don’t know what I’ve done wrong Big Brother. Apparently standing up for women’s rights, freedom and dignity is not right in his world. Well I’ve one word for him: ****** off!”

21:34PM: Big Brother has gathered the housemates on the sofas to deliver some news: “This is Big Brother, as you all know it’s against the rules for housemates to discuss their nominations with each other. This rule includes discussing or hinting at who you might nominate in the future or have nominated previously, projecting or guessing who may be nominated or guessing who has nominated who or who might nominate who in the future. This rule has been broken. Yesterday in a conversation with Jake, Michael said “I can’t wait to get these b******s up for nomination, they are doing my *********g nut in. Especially that Liz, she can’t take a *********g joke, what the *******k did I say wrong? I can’t wait to *********g get them all up and win the show.”. This conversation is a clear breach of the rules regarding nominations and as a result 5 points have been deducted from the task fund and Michael will not be able to nominate next time.”

22:41PM: Pete, Harry and Liz are talking about Michael:
Liz: “I just don’t see why he has it in for me, I mean is it so wrong that I pull him up for his sexist beliefs?”
Pete: “Na, you’re well justified”
Harry: “If I was in your position I’d have kicked off at him as well. I can’t believe he has the cheek to talk nasty behind your back to your friends. It’s bullying to the max.”

23:04PM: Michael is having an early night. In the bathroom, Yvette and Shilpa are talking about their careers (and other things).
Yvette said: “It’s just so great to have been casted for Most Haunted when it first aired. I love my programme, I love my baby. It’s such an eye opener. You should come on it some time!”.
Shilpa said: “Would love to Yvette! I’m a film actress and former CBB winner as you may know *winks*
Yvette said: “So, who do you think is going to go on Friday? That launch night twist was a bit cruel, especially when you can’t help which order you’re coming in…”
Shilpa said: “Not sure, I don’t think Cher or Jessie will go. Probably a toss-up between Matt or Joe to be honest. I’d be surprised if Coolio goes.”
Yvette said: “Yeah, I don’t think Coolio would go, not this time.”

1:58AM: Everyone is in bed. Except for Jessie, Cher and Liz *whispering*.
Jessie: “Do you think Michael will walk?”
Liz: “I hope so, never known such a sexist man and I work with a Parliament full of them!”
Cher: “Yeah, he needs to know he’s done wrong, to use sexist comments then plot against you with other people, gotta be some kind of intimidation…”

This task will incur a number of gruelling mini tasks that the housemates will need to compete in to gain points and win the shopping budget. The number of points required is disclosed until the end of the task.
3.Today’s task is as follows: every housemate is entered into an endurance task. Each housemate will have a box they will stand on. The last three housemates standing will have the power to nominate after Wednesday’s eviction. Also, if the last three people remain on the boxes after six hours, they will incur 10 points for the team.

Michael walked earlier on in the morning for feeling ‘isolated’ and ‘bullied’. This has set a sombre mood in the house but Liz is happy.

10:31AM:

Liz, Yvette, Cher and Jessie are in the kitchen making breakfast. Shilpa, Pete and Jake are fooling around in the bathroom. Joe and Coolio are in the lounge discussing the upcoming eviction. Harry, Matt and Stacey are signing ‘Sign of the Times’ in the garden. Jennifer, James and Aggie are cleaning up the store room after some eggs fell on the floor.

The task has begun all housemates are on the boxes, these are the results:

Big Brother: “Your wish is my command. You may leave the Diary Room.”

The takeaway has arrived.

“This is Big Brother, can two housemates collect the food and alcohol from the store room and bring it into the kitchen.”

Coolio and Pete: “We’ll go!”

The housemates cheer.

“This is Big Brother, today Coolio took part in a secret task to make you all laugh in order to win a takeaway and drinks on us, now we’re going to hold you a party with a selection of songs from our in house singers!”

Stacey, Cher, Jennifer, Coolio, Harry and Matt all sing through the night.

Everyone is getting on well, singing and dancing. Bonds have been formed between everyone and there doesn’t seem to be any groups in the house formed as of yet.

The Rule of Three task will continue until Wednesday, but will finally end on Wednesday’s eviction with the person who gets the third least votes to save being eternally nominated. Today is Monday. This task will incur a number of gruelling mini tasks that the housemates will need to compete in to gain points and win the shopping budget. The number of points required is disclosed until the end of the task.
Today’s task is as follows: every housemate is entered into a general quiz about their fellow housemates. They are not allowed to confer with other housemates. For every three correct answers, one point will be added to the balance. The current balance is 10 points as of yesterday.

9:23AM

Every day Big Brother plays a random sound into the house to wake the housemates up. Today it is loud birds squawking. Nobody gets out of bed. Big Brother has therefore turned off the hot water for twelve hours as a punishment.

Big Brother gathers the housemates at the sofas. Coolio looks grumpy and tells Big Brother to **** off for getting him up so early.

“This is Big Brother. Because housemates failed to wake up after two alarms sounded, Big Brother has no option but to turn off hot water for the next twelve hours.”

“Absolute pisstake” says Coolio.

Everyone is having an English Breakfast made by Liz, Yvette and Aggie.

Big Brother has called the housemate to the sofas.

“This is Big Brother. Please can all housemates make their way to the task room within 15 minutes to begin today’s Rule of Three mini task.”

Liz: “I know! I can’t stand her… She gets right on my nerves and there’s no reason to be stuck up all the time.”

Jake is speaking Spanish to himself in the garden whilst everyone is asleep.

Bit on the Side EXCLUSIVE Analysis:

Groups are already starting to form, these seem to be as follows:

Group 1: Liz, Yvette, Aggie, Joe and Matt

Group 2: Cher, Jessie, Coolio, Harry and Jennifer.

Group 3: Jake, Pete, Shilpa, Stacey and James.

It definitely seems that there are two outsider groups and one insider group this series. We’ve deducted this because cracks are already beginning to show, and people are starting to gravitate to these groups when speaking to each other. The groups also seem fairly distributed. This eviction this week would definitely hurt Group 1 more than the others, seen as Joe and Matt are seen as more ‘boring’ hence are more likely to go in this Vote to Save scenario.

Live Eviction: Day 5

Hello everybody and welcome to live eviction number one! Wow, what a surprisingly calm week we’ve had! Friendships blossoming… The house is too united for Big Brother’s liking! Well next week it could all be about to change *wicked laugh*

Before we get onto all of that eviction stuff, let’s bring you to the Rule of Three task the housemates have been enduring all week. Every task has ‘three’ involved in it, starting with the launch night twist of every third person nominated for eviction and ending with the person with the third least votes to save facing eternal nomination after this night’s show. Today housemates will be participating in a treasure hunt task. Housemates will need to find three objects enclosed in the envelope in the hatch. It reads “Pink gnome, golden chocolate bar and blue lolly”. These could be anywhere in the house. The criteria is this:

Housemates will get 20 points if they find the items in 5 minutes and under
Housemates will get 10 points if they find the items in 10 minutes and under
Housemates will get 5 points if they find the items after 10 minutes.

Housemates found all items in 9 minutes and 31 seconds. This means housemates banked 10 points bringing their total to 33 points.

Today housemates are waking up to the sound of cranes and diggers. Aggie and Liz are in the bathroom having a chat whilst drying their hair. Shilpa has been up for two hours doing yoga in the garden. Pete and Harry are discussing the finer points of spiders. Jessie and Cher are talking about who got cheers and boos last night. Jessie exclaims that Cher will “win this show”.

This week, only Harry, Jake and Jessie will be able to nominate. This is because of the Rule of Three endurance minitask which resulted in only Harry, Jake and Jessie being able to nominate. Matt cannot be nominated, because he is already eternally nominated, due to him coming third in last night’s eviction.

The outburst was a culmination of paranoia, anger and disappointment. I do regret it though!
Emma: Your colleague, Kim, was on the show this winter. You said in the Diary Room you didn’t want your housemates to trample over you and you would stamp the bitchiness out of the housemates. Do you thinkyou did that?
Aggie: Oh yes. That argument shocked everyone. You see, they see me as this frail old lady that needs looking after. Literally, in the argument they were treating me like I was senile! It was unbelievable.
Emma: Anyway, moving on from the negative stuff. You have kept that house absolutely pristine. How did you do it?
Aggie: Well, I bossed my housemates around. I wouldn’t do it by myself! I took the role of ‘mum’ of the house and assigned housemates chores. It worked for the first few days.
Emma: And those dishes! Why did you cook so much for them? What did they do to deserve it?
Aggie: Well someone has to do it or else we’d all be living off the mountains of pot noodles in the cupboards! Literally, nobody wants to make a good hearty meal.

Highlights Show: Day 9

For this weeks shopping task, housemates will need to get into pairs (one triple).

These pairs are as follows:

Cher and Jessie
Coolio and Harry
Jake and Jennifer and Matt
Liz and Yvette
Shilpa and Stacey
James and Pete

The task will end in a double eviction. In nominations, if one person in a pair is nominated, the whole pair will be up for nomination. The public will be voting for that pair to be saved. The pair with the least votes to save will be evicted in Friday’s live eviction. If someone is evicted in a pair in Tuesday’s live eviction, and therefore someone is left without a partner, they will automatically be up for eviction in next Tuesday’s live eviction.

Housemates will be taking part in a number of friendship testing tasks. Three out of four mini tasks need to be passed for housemates to win a luxury shopping budget.

Highlights Show: Day 10

Today housemates will be continuing with the pairs task. Each day a mini task will be set for the housemates. Three out of four mini tasks have to be passed for housemates to win a luxury shopping budget.

Currently one out of one mini tasks have been passed.

Today, housemates must participate in a range of team building exercises to complete the assault course in a set time. Each pair will be classed as one housemate and must help each other within the pair.

The housemates must complete the assault course in 5 minutes and 30 seconds in order to incur one point, and five points have to be incurred in order to pass this minitask.

The results are as follows:

Cher and Jessie: 3 minutes and 21 seconds
Coolio and Harry: 3 minutes and 49 seconds
Jake and Jennifer and Matt: 3 minutes and 2 seconds

Housemates will be covered in goo, freezing water and have objects thrown at them amongst other things. Three out of five pairs must last longer than 1 hour and 5 minutes being constantly hugged to pass this minitask. They will not know the time.

Quick roundup again today...

This week's task is a task to reaffirm the fundamental rule of no outside contact. The task will be that each housemate goes out into the outside world but cannot have any contact with any person. If they do have contact with someone it will incur one fail. This could be as minor as waving to someone or smiling back at them.

First up is Harry, his task is to go to the local convenience store and purchase three luxury items for the house to eat. He passes the task

Then it's Cher's turn. Her job is to walk a dog around the nearby village. She passes the task.

Liz must go to her workplace, the House of Commons and spend three hours there with a fellow MP, Jess Phillips, and not speak or interact with her whilst Jess Phillips speaks to her about the state of politics. She failed the task.

Jessie must go to the EastEnders set and act out a scene with fellow actors without speaking or interacting with them. She failed the task.

After today's task, the housemates stand on two fails.

In other news Liz and Yvette get into an argument with Harry and Jennifer which results in everyone getting formal warnings.

Jennifer must go to a music studio and record a hit single without conferring with other people at the studio. She passed the task.

Matt must meet his wife Emma Willis in the Big Brother Bit on the Side studio for 30 minutes but can't speak to her. He failed the task.

Pete must meet Nikki and Glyn from BB7 for 45 minutes but he mustn't intentionally speak to them. He failed the task.
