CELEBRITY Big Brother bosses are hoping to sign up Coronation Street star Shobna Gulati for the upcoming series.
The Mirror reports that bosses are keen to chat to the soap star about going into the house when the show kicks off on August 1.
Shobna, 50, played Sunita Alahan on the ITV soap until 2012 and has since appeared on Loose Women and Casualty.
A source told the newspaper: “Producers have been arranging a meeting with Shobna’s agents in hope of getting her on the show next month.
“Nothing is confirmed yet but they’re very interested.”
