While driving her convertible in Malibu on Tuesday, Britney was followed by eight of her closest pap pals -- nine if you include the one who actually took the pic. Just another day in Spearsville!

The snapping, flashing caravan shows just how intensely competitive getting a shot of the wigged wonder has become. Makes you want to be famous, doesn't it?!

I have to express, that I don't believe this story. This long procession is even more dangerous that the Princess Diana situation. What would happen if the driver hit the gas to escape them all. It's far too dangerous. I also don't believe that Britney is so importnat that she gets this much attention.

I need more that this one picture to believe this story.
