BREAKING NEWS: British boy goes missing in Praia da Luz - ten years after Maddy

A British boy has gone missing in the same Portuguese resort Madeleine McCann disappeared from in May 2007.

The youngster, said to be aged around eight, was last seen early this afternoon in Praia da Luz.

Initial reports said he had vanished while on the beach but Maritime Police chief Conceicao Duarte said he was last seen in the town.

Madeleine was three when she was abducted while on holiday with her parents in Praia da Luz on May 3 2007.

It is not known if the missing boy is an expat or a holidaymaker.
