View Full Version : Discussion of Nominations
Do you think the housemates should be allowed to discuss nominations? I remember reading the paper last year a week before BB7 began and it said that housemates would be allowed to discuss nominations. Obviously, that was a lie, but i thought it was a good idea. What do you think? It could cause a lot of arguements, which we like!:spin2:

No. It would cause too many arguments. Plus, it's always good when someone gets caught out. It always make them look bad, even if their discussion was innocent
Definately not, its better when they dont know

I think they need to tighten up the rules re: speaking about noms because last year was a shambles. Some got punished for it and some didn't. They need to set a certain punishment for it and stick with it throughout. Inconsistency just makes it rubbish.

yeah Imogen couldn't nominate until like Week 6, surely after being band 3 times, the punishment should have been to a greater extent, especially seing as she was dull.
I must be the only one who thinks it would be good. lol. But i guess the punishments are fun. And it's kul when sometimes the housemates watch them on the plasma. Maybe i was wrong. lol. I've seen the light! lol.

No, i dont think discussion of nominations should be allowed.
I think the rules need to be fixed for housemates who do break that rule. It has been a mess the last few years. Like in BB6 in Week 2 Vanessa talked about nominations and BB put the whole house up, bu then in Week 3 Craig, Roberto & Derek all discussed nominations and BB only banned them from nominating and showed them on screen. I think if a housemate discusses nominations they should be banned from nominating and go automatically up for the chop.
so how would people get evicted? just like everyone uo for eviction?

I agree with what Aaron was saying. I reckon that they need to sort out what punishment will be dished out and make sure everyone gets punished the same way.

Like Aaron says it is not a good idea, it will cause arguments and it will take away the shock factor and it will cause people to make groups and distance themselevs from people, and make pacts to get certain people out each week.

It's a fondamental rule of BB, to keep the secret !
Ok if they can, we will have stretegies, but too many conflicts !
Bad idea ! :nono:

I think yes, but only by those who win a challenge or some sort of game each week. Could make it very interesting.
finally, someone who agrees with me! lol.

I was guna say that they should be allowed to discuss it after they've nominated, but not before, so's not to influence other people's noms. But, that wouldn't work.
that cud actually work, i think.

No way. It can't work. The stronger personlities will influence the weaker personalitites. Just imagine if Makosi was allowed to dscuss nominations, she'd have got rid of the whole house. It's a bad idea.

I don't think housemates should be able to talk about nominations at all. One of the great things about BB is when the HMs go to the DR every week and bitch about their fellow HMs, and, yeah, it's great TV when they get punished and they have to nominate in front of everyone! lol
