Don't get too excited this is not an announcement

Just wondering if you would stay if BB got cancelled?

Babayaro.
31-07-2017, 10:19 PM
I would stay

LaLaLand
31-07-2017, 10:19 PM
I would stay tbh. I actually enjoy off-season a lot so the no BB thing wouldn't really bother me!

Epic.
31-07-2017, 10:19 PM
No probably. I would possibly be more inactive though since i can tell activity in general would slip

Oaker
31-07-2017, 10:20 PM
Yeah

EspeonBB
31-07-2017, 10:20 PM
I would stay to post about international shows like BBUS, BBCAN, Survivor etc.

Jason.
31-07-2017, 10:20 PM
The title scared me </3

I usually prefer off-season anyway, so the forum would be like one long off-season if it were to get cancelled and I'm kinda fine with that?

Moosething
31-07-2017, 10:21 PM
Probably only for BBCAN and the other international shows

Dominic
31-07-2017, 10:21 PM
No probably as I don't watch international shows and don't talk to many people anyways

Marsh.
31-07-2017, 10:21 PM
Yeah, most of my posts the last couple of years aren't even about BB/CBB. :hehe:

Now, if EastEnders was axed. :nono:

Drew.
31-07-2017, 10:21 PM
Most likely. It's built up over the years where theres enough things going on to stick around for. Pretty much every other reality show is discussed on here as well as sports, music etc

Mitchell
31-07-2017, 10:22 PM
Possibly not, I joined this forum when BB was cancelled in fact

LukeB
31-07-2017, 10:22 PM
well thank god you are not leaving!!

and yeah for international BBs, X Factor and other tv shows.

Crimson Dynamo
31-07-2017, 10:23 PM
I could not let my hahtahs down

Jamie89
31-07-2017, 10:23 PM
I'd stay in theory since I prefer off season anyway, and this year I didn't even watch most of the series or post in the BB forum but still came on, but I say in theory because I reckon over time most people would gradually leave to the point where there would hardly be any activity worth coming on for, or it would be closed down.. but yes if everyone else stayed then I would too!

31-07-2017, 10:23 PM
the place would probably be a lot less toxic bc of it so I'd probably stick around

I've only really got into the habit of being a member this last series and I've enjoyed posting. So we'll see.

I'd probably stay but obvs be a lot less active

DouglasS
31-07-2017, 10:26 PM
Probably would, it's not that entertaining otherwise. But I'd be back for BBUS and BBCAN.

At this rate BB won't be leaving us seen as this government is intent on tracking our every last move

Vicky.
31-07-2017, 10:30 PM
I prefer offseason anyway so I would stay.

But I don;t really think the forum would survive without BB. It wouldn't be worth it for mark to pay for the server and stuff..and fairly sure he wouldn't pay out of his own pocket just so like 20 members could chat about nothing :D

Amy Jade
31-07-2017, 10:31 PM
Is tibb expensive to run? :worry:

Vicky.
31-07-2017, 10:32 PM
I am not sure tbh. I know it does cost money though which is made back by ads and that

Marsh.
31-07-2017, 10:33 PM

Poor me and Lostie and our group of iconic TV show chats.

Flashbacks to when Tom threatened Josy by turning ad-block on so the forum couldn't run until she implemented the like button :joker:

Yeah, I imagine they'd attempt to broaden it into general Reality TV chat which it kind of already does but idk.

Mark did mention something about this once and from memory (though my memory has in recent days been proven to be not so sharp :D ) he said it was a fair few hundred quid a month to run.

So without the ad revenue, it would be money from his own pocket for nowt.

Though as a pro-poker player that kind of money is nowt to him

Its the costs for a decent server I think rather than the actual site.

I could be completely wrong, as it was literally like 5 years ago when this was discussed (it was when members were going on about how slow the site was...and demanding a new server)

Vicky.

Stop pasting the pics please. I've removed what I can see.

Just had channel 4 on the phone (while I was taking a bath) asking they be removed. Please respect the embargo (and my bath time!)

You can actually do quite a good forum for free as you probably know Kate and I did one once ,you get the ads but you also get a shout box etc and all the things TIBB offers, you can get multiple skins and I used to love doing it. Pro Boards is a good one I run a couple of them, so if marc ever runs out of dosh there is another option :hee:

I'd stick around. Honestly, I think the current series forum is usually a cesspool and I hardly **** with it anyway. I much prefer the BB Intl sections and Survivor as they're more ~intimate~

Yes I do remember that..it was a bit laggy and slow though and there were only an few members...thats not a criticism as I imagine actually setting up a forum is hard work...just an observation.

I am fairly sure those kind of forums couldn't handle the amount of memberswe get at times, I mean

Most users ever online was 11671, 26-01-2016 at 01:16 PM.

Over 10k people online at once? obviously thats not the norm but even at quiet times we have like 200+ on

I think if you had a lot of members you can pay a fee and you get more space etc, We only had a few Tibb members as our site was opposing Tibb at that time ,and we usually got the banned members, lol but we had some fun on it tbh. We had some on there that are still here today.
