I feel that this series kind of has a bit of a CBB15 vibe, where loads of names that have been rumoured for years are (probably) gonna finally go in tonight such as Sarah, Barry, Paul Danan, Trisha and I swear the majority of the cast.

Although with a line up which includes Paul Danan, Sandi, Trisha, Derek Acorah and the man The Sun said is going in today (no spoilers) then I think this series will be ****ing jokes! :cheer2:

I can't really see much generic constant arguing (we'll probably get some, idm as long as it's funny) with this cast although I could be wrong with the ones Idk, oh yeah, and Paul danan. I do think this will be an acclaimed series though, I have high hopes.

I love the drama that has comedy in it, such as Frenchy vs Leslie

Stuff like Bear drama does nothing for me

I hate rylan and Emma saying they want fun and comedy. We don't want to see a bunch of people laughing and having pillow fights which so often makes civilian bb a bore. The funny stuff is actually from the drama, e.g. David is dead and all of the hilarious arguments. The drama is good as sometimes it's serious, heartfelt and gripping but also the drama half the time is hilarious.

A mix of both.

Too much of either becomes boring/draining.

A BB6 combination of both, although I do generally prefer comedy as the drama can be risque

Depends on what type. Last year Bear brought "comedy" (apparently) and I hateddd that series for his and his friends' actions. Didn't find it entertaining at all.
CBB15 was amazing for its drama but the lack of comedy made the series draining to watch at times.
CBB17 was PERFECT because there was a perfect blend of both, imo.

BB5 and BB6 had such an amazing balance of both

THIS especially!

I haven't watched BB5 properly yet but yeah totally agree @BB6 . For example, in that series you have the stuff like Makosi's declaration that she's pregnant, Craig's complicated thing with Anthony, Derek being an all-around **** stirrer to every single housemate, and Makosi in general. But all of those things are treated with more of a comical and enjoyable vibe than say CBB18.

Both.

Purely drama with zero fun can be dull and tedious, like BB15.

Both really but I prefer comedy and would want more of that than drama. Comedy with a bit of (natural) drama is ideal, whereas loads of drama and a little bit or/no comedy would be tedious.

Comedy wins for me.

Some of the best Big Brother moments have been the funny ones. They're sometimes a bit lacking in comparison on C5 Big Brother.

I like a bit of both, but there has to be comedy to soften the drama otherwise it becomes unwatchable.

One of the best moments in recent years that springs to mind was both comedic and dramatic though......David's dead

I like a healthy mix of both but if forced to choose, comedic for me also

Bit of both but let's be honest, which episode will we watch back of the last one? Fight night?

Without a fight or two we'd all soon be turning off.

Think peace and love week.

Comedy, but not silly predictable like pillow and water fights. I do also like a bit of drama.

How exactly is a pillow or water fight comedy?

It's not unless someone gets narky, that's when it gets funny. :joker::joker:

It needs to be both like in CBB17.

Too much drama without any comedy and you end up with a depressing series like CBB5.....no thanks!

A nice mixture of both. Too much drama becomes draining and repetitive but no drama is really boring.
