Eye Information (yes, I've seen it)

Firstly, I know what you're thinking. Another nutcase whos just joined the forum so he can SPAM topics about seeing the BB8 eye. Well, this time its real- I've seen the BB8 eye and the official trailer.

I work for a small-time graphic design company called Sipher - we design logos, websites, you name it. We often get sent examples or templates that we should base our work upon so imaginemy astonishment when I got one from the team behind BB8s eye!

Now I'm not a fan of big Brother (in fact, I hate it) but I do like spreading the news when I get it onto forums like this...

-THE EYE-

This years eye adopts a kinda chrome look. The very deisgn is different from anything we've seen in BB world wide. The silvery-blue spiral is much more detatched than the BB7 eye so the spirals kind are kind of loose and spindly, not restrained by the usual BB eye template.


Really I shouldnt post anymore until wednesday.., when everything else will be revealed.

Believe me or not, this is the eye you will see come May or whenever its revealed.

the only thing ill say is remember bb5 which was vetical lines and then bb6 also had vertical lines, Yes i know they look different but you know where im coming from. I wudnt rule out them using spirals but in a different way!!
Also, some1 who is lying wud make up something bold and adventurous and completely different just so that it sound original to us and we believe it.

they will not go for a spiral eye this year. trust me. but keep the rumours coming. im stoked because we've still got the 'real' eye to look forward to.

Yeah , BB5 was laser effect and BB6 was shattered , but telefans point remains. They were both vertical lines. Just done in different ways. The same can be applied to BB8.

Not the same thing, a spiral is a spiral.

A vertical line can be attributed to MANY things.

But a spiral is a specific shape. a specific identity. were as they JUST get away with using a vertical line for both BB5 and BB6 a spiral is too much of a specific identity to be used again.

I do see what you mean but this could be radically different. And not nessacerily confined to the template. BB3 I remind you , was also very spiralish. Seperate circles I know - but still.

but there was 4 series between these eyes and they look nothing alike.

I'm not that stupid, mate - the official eye I've seen is not in the trailer. Instead, it said "Big Brother" in the C4 font.

But the OP has now just said "I saw what I now know was a fan-made trailer"...so why did he think that was the real advert when that advert was covered in the green and black eye...when he says he has the real eye which is chrome with spirals?

Surely he would have been able to dismiss the advert straight away if he knows the real eye?

Its not as top secret as you may think. When im not denouncing its importance , its perfectly acceptable for Eatock or C4 to hand it down to a graphics company.

Another possibility that stems from that is that it was handed down because it is not going to be used and was just a prototype , which is also entirley possible , with the real eye being revealed on wedensday.

Big Brother's eye doesn't have to stay the same every year. It depends on the circumstances of the series I suppose.
Im suspicious, if wednesday comes and this eye is revealed, Great! It looks an intresting eye.
If Mxle comes on tommorow or later and tells us more, well the more we can believe him.
However after asking him on many occasions for the Sipher website link, and not getting anything back, it might be just made up.
Also, if you get a snippet of any old BB eye, we could all imagine the full eye from that, because we know what it looks like.
If we see something compleatly new, we cant be sure about it.
I hope this eye is true, 2nd May sounds like a great day for information for some reason. But, we will just have to wait.

The OP is eyeing on the side of caution, has posted a distorted portion of the eye that does NOT reveal enough of the eye to work out how it looks but DOES reveal enough to show he has it.
