At the moment I dont mind Derek sure he is a bit loopy but hes ok the other two I certainly dont like and add Chard and Paul to the mix

Karthk is just embarressing to watch....he was the same in the Apprentice.
Derek...well he is a bit laughable. They were all giggling at him yesterday which is probably what I would be doing. He takes himself so seriously and really doesn't seem to realise people are struggling to take him seriously.
Shaun...I quite like him...but I don't quite get him at the moment. I think he has a really dry sense of humour and could be quite mocking but it hasn't revealed itself yet. I can't make out wether he is taking it all too seriously or its all tongue-in-cheek..

Yeah that's her....she played the same gig as him....but you know some folk go there ...like me and my mates..sure we know we were stupid now...There was some weeping adult's crying mingling amongst the crowd about their long lost one's.....asking folk who they hoped to hear from...same folk with her huby during show and selling her merchandise afterwads ..

I saw her too at Sheffield CityHall a few years ago, got front row seats ,in the foyer she had a clear ball and people wrote on cards who they wanted to get in touch with then put the cards in the ball ....... She got a 2 cards out of this ball on stage ,but as she read the top card she slid it across and read the card underneath ,then put both cards down on the table ,closed her eyes for drama and then said "Do we have someone wanting to connect to ???? in the audience ? " Con artist ,it was clearly the name on the card underneath

And as you say paid weepers sat in audience and her husband floating about earwigging !!

Soap acting always encourages the actors to not really act, it's why imo it's the weakest scripted TV Genre along with a few other issues.

I wouldn't say it encourages them. There are a number of exceptional soap actors.

You're just more likely to get people like Shaun, who play the smaller/sillier characters.

But you get the bad/limited actors in any genre, even in the biggest films in the world.

I suppose you're right, but besides the ones playing Serial Killers/Rapists, I tend to find that Soap actors are more likely to attract a Shaun than most other genres.
