I'm enjoying the relationships building, it's something that the civilian series cut out in favour of the showmance bollocks.

It's alright, things are kind of slow at the moment though and there's way too much focus on showmances and "Jam"

Trisha has been excellent though :flutter:

Just STOP alright? Because...you passify everybody. You're talking to him, he's your pal. Then you're on the bed passifying him.

Brilliant so far, has a nice dynamic and I like that even the ones that are falling out are still building bridges and getting along in some capacity. We've just had the huge house divide in the normal series with it all kicking off every episode, it's nice to have a different kind of series following that.

It's very playground relationship focussed ..he fancies/she fancies/ would you kiss him/her ..bloody boring

I'm liking it too. They're letting things play out and haven't gone OTT with their attempts to force drama yet.

The editing needs to improve though- they're only showing a small number of the housemates.

I agree...too much happened too quickly in Civilian BB. It's nice to see opinions form based on getting to know people rather than creating rows for the sake of it.
There are a lot of opinionated people in there..it will kick off eventually but it's best when it's based on a formed opinion rather than a one off comment. At least they are allowing themselves time to get to know each other rather than making assumptions based on one thing.
...if that makes any sense

I want less on Trisha, Sam, Jordan, and especially Amelia and Chad, and more focus on Shaun, Karthick/Katar/Kathar, Paul, and Helen who seems a bit eccentric.

Why is this assumed about everyone who has tantrums? Nadia was doing it before Nikki

Because Nikki did it in every episode as a common character trait, where as Nadia only did it about Jason, and Cigarettes.

Imo Trisha is showing more Nikki traits than Nadia's traits.

I like the fact that they all seem to be hanging out together. Don't like the fact that half of them think it's a dating show.

That's funny as everyone levelled similar criticisms at Nikki back in 2006 for "trying to be Jade".

And I highly doubt Trisha has even heard of Nikki.

Well Nikki and Jade have both copied from American Reality Shows really.

But in BB terms Trisha using that style is copying Nikki Grahame. I don't get how Nikki and Jade Goody had anything in common though as Jade tried to play the thick card?

Jade had childish meltdowns and tantrums too.

And, no, if she's never heard of Nikki she can't be "copying" her in any way, shape or form.

As for Nikki and Jade copying American reality shows, not really, particularly in the case of Jade Goody.

Meh, it’s average

Every night when BB18 was on, I’d be in a huge rush to get ready in time for the episode whereas in CBB20 I’m just leaving it for catchup

Jade was much more 3D as a person than Nikki though (and that's quite a bad thing to say) as all Nikki did do was have tantrums which is exactly what Trisha is doing.

And before going on the show her Agent would've told her to watch clips of BB's most infamous contestants so she will know who Nikki Grahame is.

It's a fantastic series so far and aside from the random little music bursts at the end of the ad breaks, which needs to end now, I don't know why they've started doing it, it's been really interesting to watch.

And she just happens to be like one of the most famous BB Housemates?

Because Nikki is the only self obsessed immature blonde on reality TV.

I am finding it a bit tedious with the Amelia, Chad thing. She does like him/ but not like that/ then she does/she doesn't FF sake, just make your mind up woman and stop flirting with him if you don't want him. He doesn't care if you do or don't, you are just there and give him air time.

Then the tedious Boys/manchildren who are so boring with their oh so practiced routines with women, Jordan trying it on with Marissa was cringeworthy.

Trisha is whacko, Helen is too but we don't see enough of her. Brandi is waiting for her whacko moment as is Danaan.

It has possibilities but is spending too much time on immature housemates antics rather than those who could offer some interesting conversations.

It's been good so far. The editing has helped us to see most of the relationships developing so far which is a complete contrast to the civilian series where the first week was a complete mess i didn't know what was going on most of the time. I feel like when they're not all down each others throats arguing 24/7 then it becomes a better social experiment and better to watch.

I dropped out of the summer cilvilian BB because it was full of airheads. I couldn't stand Keiran and 'that lass up North, kid'...

So dreary....

It's ok

Yeah the HLs have been good so far, but I agree it needs a rocket up it to spice things up.
