Thought this had happened ages ago, at the tills they hold the bags now in case people try to take them without paying 5p

10p - many will carry it in a box

So... the 5p was ,as far as I understand it, going toward environmental schemes and the 10p will go to... TESCO!

I have seen the 10p bags for life
they are wider than that horrid 5p thin plastic
that ends up in the sea.
If that 10P bag splits - they MUST give you as New one
"BAG FOR LIFE"

Lots of places already do that for 5p bags

Get yourself an ikea bag, one off 40p and then fold it up and take it with you shopping, that thing will hold about a fortnights shopping for a family of 8 :laugh:
