I was reading this a Digital Spy article and Neil Patrick Harris said he is a big fan of Celebrity Big Brother. He then said he really wanted to take part.

The producers better see this because he would be a great signing and would be a great housemate.

Whaaaat. He definitely is a celebrity. He was in How I Met Your Mother as a main character and just google "Neil Patrick Harris movies" and you will see the large list of well known movies he has starred in. He's about 200x more famous than anyone in this series, definitely out of CBB's league

I do understand you but it depends how they act really and if it was full of a listers which it could be if the production and casting teams pulled themselves together, maybe it wouldn't be career suicide.

Nah I don't really think that makes much difference. If the producers want you to be the villain, they can do it via editing. They could completely change someones personality by showing only selected clips, and seem to do this a fair bit too. Only way you could guarantee it wouldn't harm your career is if you went in and said or did nothing for the whole time. Hell even having a small argument can have the 'bully' label stuck to you.
