Are the HMs drinking?

For some reason I get the idea that the HMs are being denied alcohol, is that what's going on? If so, why? It seems that all of these circus monkeys would go ape when drunk. :conf:

She was clearly pissed when biting Amelia's leg no matter how playful. And slurs words most nights so they're getting more than a little.
