Anyone else think Rylan does an amazing job on CBBOTS?

In the past i never watched BBOTS because i thought it was always a little cringe worthy but ive been getting into it more and i think Rylan does such a great job on there. He always tries to steer away from being opinionated. And they were just talking about Trisha, and although it would be completely understandable if he dragged her, he remained totally nuetral and fair when talking about her and i find that really admirable because i know how hard it is to keep an opinion about a housemate on the low. This is really just a thread about Rylan because he does a great job in my opinion

Emma is lovely but her interviews always seem somewhat awkward in my opinion. Rylan does a great job at remaining totally calm and confident throughout almost anything

I have to agree with the op, hated him on XFactor cause he can't sing, but he has really found his calling and I can see him going from strength to strength in his career, with mainstream Saturday night tv in the future

I'm on the same boat. I wasnt really one of his admirers or anything when he had his x factor phase but presenting really seems to work for him so i guess its a good thing x factor helped him get to where he is now. :laugh:

I have detested Rylans turning BOTS into the Rylan show.

There was a time, he would turn every subject into comments about him, his teeth, winning the show, his singing, dancing, rapping. The cringeworthy judge, the final cut was so bad and still is.

But he does a good job with the panel, audience and guests. Let's face it, he could only have got better as he couldn't have got any worse, that would be impossible.

He's a very good presenter and interviewer now, much better than he used to be, imo, and likeable too. I think he's going to go far in his career.

However, he tries to turn it into the "Rylan Show" rather than about the series of BB/CBB. I am more likely to watch it straight after BB rather than wait an hour after CBB to watch it tbh though.

He's fine in doses but it's just constant innuendo. Shouting over audience members every time they say something that could even vaguely be considered sexual.

I feel a headache coming on watching him and he's honestly worse than Brian Dowling. Should only ever be a guest segment presenter, never be given his own show. Just look at Babushka.

I agree with you here, and think he is great at interviews. He seems to put the housemates at ease and gets far more out of them than Emma does. His interview style is good and, although some of the Bots content could be better, I always watch it.

Yes, I think the criticism about him turning it into the Rylan show is a bit unfair as it is the producers who decide on the content of the show and Rylan is obliged to present that content.

I cannot understand the reasoning here, we are talking about BOTS not the South Bank Show.

To me Rylan has his positives but spoils by his head growing bigger by every programme he does.

His dancing down the stairs is dire, his rapping also, his cringeworthy "other whatever's are available" he constantly called BOTS his show from the moment he took over from Emma, who never said that it was her show. His sycophantic introductions of Emma.

He should realise he is only the presenter of the show. He is good with the audience, guests and quick witted replies and if he could curb his ego, he would be so much better.

Apart from BOTS which I want to know about CBB, I don't watch him anymore because he is his own biggest fan.

i could just about suffer Rylan when he shared the show with Emma. I know it wasn't exactly intellectually stimulating then, but its hit an all new dumbed down level. It's got to the point I just cannot watch him on my TV.
