I actually remember watching that episode of Brat Camp back in the day! :joker: It was actually a good show.

Jemma must have been a spoiled brat...even the lengths her parents went to to try and make her see the error of her ways had no effect. It was a risky option and not one that many would make. It was either going to make her a better person..or even worse...and I think we can all see the result.
IMO this girl is full of self loathing. She has no self respect.. It's all quite sad really.

It's obviously scarred her...but has she ever understood why her parents did what they did...they were at the end of their tether, I recall watching it...didn't realise it was her.
One of those situations where what her parents did was a massive gamble...it obviously didn't pay off...just made her worse. Makes you wonder what happened in her first 13 years that made her the spoiled brat she was then...
She really can be vile...but sometimes you get a glimpse of a vulnerable girl that just wants to be loved...:shrug:

I agree with you and I don't want to excuse her behaviour because she can be vile at times but I do think she is misunderstood
