View Full Version : What was the overall opinion here on Paul?
Epic.

I know he started off popular here but quickly got hate over how he was acting to Sarah and Karthik alike, but after that it kinda became unclear to me. The poll I did about his eviction (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327529) also shows that he was quite divisive but I feel as though the hate was more vocal. So what WAS your actual opinion on him?
Mine was that he was pretty gobby and a mess but he felt so open about all of it and was hilarious as he embraced it too ("Just because it's the dizzle... doesn't mean it's the shizzle..."). I loved his searing bloodfest-themed feud with Jemma and his weird rapid opinion changes on Sarah, along with his CONSTANT uber ****-stirring within the house that shaped the dynamics that made it interesting. He felt like a righteous presence and one of the strongest characters, in a complimentary way.
Where do you stand, seeing as this was his last HL's show? Poll coming

I liked him until the Sarah and Karthik incidents and then I didn't mind his last few days after he made up with Jemma.

Me too...he blew hot and cold for me. He knew how to get airtime...getting involved in everyone's arguements ( but tbh I would find it hard not to).
He was hot headed and dished it but didn't like it back. Although he was quick to apologise..there is only so much apologising you can do...and sometimes you need to learn to refrain from being hot headed or simply stand by what you said.
Also he was a massive hypocrite...what he slated others for was the very thing he did himself.
However...he was a great housemate and he is a big loss to the house dynamics.

Lol...his making up with Jemma wouldn't have lasted for long.

He was a good housemate but if I was in there with I'd want to strangle him. Not a nice guy. Malicious streak a mile wide. Glad he's not going to win but could of lived with him until Tuesday.
He earned his money I suppose which a few haven't.

I loved him haha. He was very entertaining and funny at times. Didn't always agree with him. Sometimes he was an ass, but he made a good housemate nonetheless

At first I wasn't sure about him ... it was the clothes and the oak stain coloured skin. But I really admired him in the end for not going back to the booze after all that crap from Jemma. I hope he does well.

If he didn't go back on the booze in that house, he probably never will. I too really admired him for that.

Didn't necessarily like him
But def a good HM
Compared to the rest of them this year (can't believe i'm saying this)....
He should have won!!
I mean really, who else deserves it more??
After seeing Paul's eviction interview and his levels of genuine appreciation - then yeah - that is your natural winner right there

Loved him, went mediocre on him, then loved him again - especially when he was interviewed after and seemed so genuinely thankful and emotional and said he found his old self.
He just engages his mouth before his brain. He genuinely stuck up for people he thought were getting treated badly of unfairly - but unfortunately it was often Jemma winding up his little key and sending him off on his own like her little clockwork puppet. Half the time Paul was wrong - but it wasn't his fault.
Heart on his sleeve. He came across snakey or malicious at times, but I genuinely don't think he's capable of that, he is an open book and actually an okay bloke. I'd like him there to have my back at times!

These are good poll results for Danan, if the TV execs see him the same way. People like him and dislike him, but he isn't hated. So you put him in a format that both types of people watch (reality shows) then you are going to get cheers and boos and all that people ****. Of course, some people are "mixed"....zzzzz...zzzz.
