View Full Version : Archive?
I was just thinking about how on another forum i lurk, threads are closed after a few months of inactivity and then archived automatically. Maybe this would be a good idea on here and maybe it could help with the recent problems we've been having with the forum being sluggish, idk
Seems like it would do a good job at keeping things tidy though
Exceptions could be made for threads that have off seasons but come back to life later like some of the football discussion ones or something

That would stop everyone from bumping old threads which would be tragic

I guess you could request to unarchive or something but when an old thread is bumped randomly it's closed anyway most of the time

I'd just delete the old chat threads tbh, nothing of substance happened in there anyway

You aren't meant to :idc:

thread bumping is overdone but sometimes people need reminding of an iconic one or iconic moment or like Mark's bath or the Marcus Quotes or the Brian Dowling memes
