When you are posting links to news articles etc it would be very helpful to posters who are using mobiles to view the forum if you could post the relevant part of the article in the thread along with the link as it can take a long time for links to load on phones and alot of times people viewing your threads may not bother to click the link because of that. It would also benefit the thread starter as it might encourage more replies on your thread. It's not a rule, just a suggestion.

Thank you for this, I was gonna suggest this a couple days back
This allows people to see, say a story, without having to click on a news site they would rather not (e.g. Me with The Sun and the Mail, both papers I am disgusted by and would rather not fund)

There's nothing I hate more than going in a BB news thread and all it has in it is a Sun link
It's gross

Add-on suggestion after just reading in the other thread that it's probably difficult for those posting FROM phones to quote the article;

As we are a helpful bunch, maybe if we go into a thread that is still pretty new and has a link but no quoted text (either because the OP couldn't do it or just forgot)... then someone who can do so could do it? Probably only helpful if the thread is still less than say 5 posts deep, but would partially solve that problem :hee:.

So this thread is now being used to bait by the usual crowd.

Please go look up the definition of the word baiting, because this is not it

I didn't want to mention it in another of your threads because I knew you'd play the victim and say it was baitling, hence why i posted it in here because you quite obviously up until now read this thread

It is yeah.

One that was stating there were other dubious links in response to another thread.

Off the top of my head, without actually counting, I make at least 3 other baity posts from those whom I would expect them from!

Sounds like a fair, unbiased and reasonable post - not!

The sun is a dubious source .. they lie, it's been proven in court hasn't it?
Ergo fact not opinion, why are the guardian and the independent equally as dubious?

I'm not the forum police if you consider something baiting report it, I'm only highlighting the issues I take exception to.
