Jade Goody tops the Celeb with the Worst Voice list!

London, May 3: Reality TV star Jade Goody is definitely not having a great time, for after the racial row and a Caribbean holiday that went up in flames, she has been voted the celebrity with the worst voice.

Goody, who racially abused Indian actress Shilpa Shetty on reality show 'Celebrity Big Brother', received the maximum votes for her voice, that has been described as loud and irritating.

Manchester United soccer star Wayne Rooney followed the 25-year-old Goody at the second place and TV presenter Janet Street-Porter, 60 was ranked 3rd.

Among the best voice, Arsenal's French skipper Thierry Henry topped the list and actor Sir Sean Connery came at the second spot.

English actress and former model, Joanna Lumley, secured the third spot.

The Top 3 for Celebrity with the worst voice are as follows

2)Wayne Rooney

3) Janet Street-Porter

There is nothing she can do with that. Even Madonna's speaking voice is annoying to some, but her singing voice is great.

Shamed celebrity Jade Goody has picked up another gong she could do without...TV viewers have voted the loudmouth's Essex whine Britain's most annoying voice.

Goody's dreadful drawl topped a poll of 4,000 people to find the most annoying voice.

And the poll makes clear that it's not just what Goody says that irritates people, but how she says it.

Goody, who was accused of foul-mouthed racism when she bullied Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, pipped England footballer Wayne Rooney's broader than the Mersey Scouse accent.

However, Arsenal star Thierry Henry's smooth French patter put him top of the voices the public loves to hear.

Meanwhile the thought of chats over the dinner table in the Rooney household are too much to bear, with Wayne's fiancee Colleen McLoughlin not far behind in eighth.

Voters found newspaper editor and TV personality Janet Street Porter's voice nearly as irritating, the journalist coming in third in the Top Ten Worst Voices poll.

And while Rehab singer Amy Winehouse may have the singing voice to delight fans, her normal speech is not as pleasing, coming fourth.

Jade's mum Jackiey, herself a Celebrity BB star also offends the eardrums, coming in seventh.

Other stars whose dreadful dialects annoy Brits are Jordan, lothario Russell Brand, Cheryl Cole, Chris Eubank and his famous lisp coming in tenth.

And while Rooney regularly matches up to Arsenal's Thierry Henry on the field, he doesn't come close when it comes to his chat - with Henry's French accent coming top of the top ten voices the public love to hear.

Former Bond star smoothie Sean Connery's Scottish burr was just pipped at the post by Henry, while Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna Lumley's polished tones came in third.

Another Bond, Pierce Brosnan, also made the Top 10, along with veteran actors Morgan Freeman and Honor Blackman and TV chef Nigella Lawson.

The poll was carried out by hearing aid retailer the Hearing Company to mark Deaf Awareness Week.

Andrea Callaway, marketing director at the Hearing Company, said: "This poll shows how a celebrity sounds significantly influences their popularity with the public."
