Really unpopular probably but 2011 is my fave and probably always will be. Little Mix, Misha, Kitty, Sophie and Amelia :love:. 2008 is great too and unpopular again but I enjoyed 2015.

Definitely 2010 in terms of public interest.

The proper decline kicked in during 2012 when it was on at the same time as the London Olympics, and the contestants got compared negatively to Team GB competitors. :hee:

For me it peaked when Little Mix won

But in reality, I think the exact moment it started declining was when they eliminated 4 acts in week one of the series 11 live shows. Every year prior had climbed in ratings as soon as live shows started, then this weird twist sort of stumbled that

Series 5-8 were ratings peaks, 9 got low ratings due to the Olympics and it seems like they could not recover from then.
My top 3 series are:
1. Series 7 (2010)
2. Series 3 (2006)
3. Series 5 (2008)
Last year's season was trash, almost stopped watching the show...

It's hard to say I didn't watch the first series the second third and fourth were really good but totally different to how the show went on. Series 5 with alexandra etc was my favourite it was amazing. Series 6 was really good too but had a terrible winner in my opinion. Series 7 was exceptional but another shocking winner. Series 8 wasn't as good but it did have my favourites little mix Janet devlin and the iconic kitty. Then it started to go downhill even though I loved Ella and james in series 9. Series 10 was horrendous. From then on it just hasn't been as good a few great contestants here and there maybe but series 5, series 6, series 7 were my favourites funnily enough the same can be said for big brother odd that
