I'd argue it's even better. 4 is a close second but it's still clouded by so much general nastiness, whereas 17 has that as one of its elements but it's still light hearted more or less (eg Gemma and John's feud over controlling the house, Gemma and Danniella's hate boner of Steph, the entirety of David-is-Dead, etc.) There's probably loads of other reasons I'd call it the best series but that's for another time xxo
