Of the main bad guys :
(only just realised all the main bad guy deaths were done by women and two by Arya :hee: )

Joffery

Ramsey's. Purely for the fact that it involved dogs and Sansa

Joffrey's was a close second, Littlefinger's was too quick and Arya was badass whilst killing Walder Frey but once again it was too quick.

Yeah it was pretty poetic that Sansa got the very best revenge by letting his own dogs finish him off.

This is why I think Ramsay's death was more satisfying, he knew he was helpless.

And the fact that he was going on about how he hadn't fed his dogs in days earlier came back to (literally) bite him on the ass :hee:

If Joffrey had been a character i disliked then that would have easily been the most satisfying. Ramsay was a good villain but there was something kinda satisfying about his death after the build up to it.

Yeah from the gifs that looks worse, he was poisoned but Ramsay was taken prisoner and then was eaten by his own dogs who he hadn't feed for days (because he used them to hunt people for his own amusement so it was a sort of poetic justice) also, his wife who he had raped and abused was the one to set the dogs on him :hee:

Yeah I can appreciate that they're good villains but Joffery had no redeeming qualities and was just so unlikable. He also didn't really have much to him besides being an evil brat. Ramsey as twisted as he was at least funny.

Imo Littlefinger, Cersei and Tywin are much better villains and I can get why people like them. I'm just really taken aback that theres someone who actually liked Joffery lol.

The later seasons are better than the earlier ones imo. This last season was amazing. The difference with GoTs and other TV shows is that it's a series of books and the story has a proper beginning, middle and end, it's all leading to a proper conclusion so it's gets better as it goes along imo

I felt kinda bad for Olly too, yeah his anger was misplaced in Jon but like you say he lost his whole family because of Jon's decisions and he was young...he could have just neen banished or something?

Why did you put it in your sig twice when it was removed already the first time? :nono:

The reason being, it was in your sig not a thread about horror movie deaths or whatever that people have choice about whether to look at our not. Your sig shows up all over the forum wherever you post.

We normally don't allow stuff like that in sigs, same with gifs that break the swear filter, we'll usually let it go if it's posted as a once off in the middle of the chat thread for example but it would be removed from a persons sig (spoiler or not)

Epic.

Minority opinion here but gonna go with Littlefinger. The other 3 listed were all used as tools against him when Sansa was sentencing him so in many ways he feels like a roundabout completion of these kinds of people.

He also entertained me the most out of the 4 so that's another reason I was most invested

Joffrey's was more satisfying I think but I hated Ramsay more

Locke.
04-09-2017, 04:22 PM
Definitely Walder's. I'd been waiting for that prick to die for about 6 years since first reading the Red Wedding in the books, and I was worried that the show had moved on from that side of the story and wouldn't bring him back. Was also made even more satisfying because it was a Stark that got to do it, and she wiped out his entire family at the same time.

Joffrey and Ramsay's were also great (and Tywin's). I didn't like Roose's death purely because he was way too smart to have that happen to him, 0% chance he dies that way in the books, they just used that to build Ramsay up even more in the show. I didn't actually dislike Littlefinger that much so no opinion either way on that one, was good that Sansa got to give the order though.

Drew.

I guess it depends how you interpret my use of the word Like. He was very unpredictable & ruthless with everything he did which would also bring out the best and worst in a lot of other characters. Obviously there were parts i didn't like about him & I disagree with nearly everything he did.. had it been real life then it's a different story, but the character was great and what he did do in the show ended up producing some memorable TV moments.

RileyH
04-09-2017, 04:27 PM
imo Joffrey was a character who was there for you to hate so I can understand why people like him but it's that that also made his death way more satisfying as we had been waiting 4 seasons

Joffrey's was great at the time (with him being such a **** and all) but i just loved the pure class of Arya's flawless throat slashing with Littlefinger's. Loved how quick and how much blood pooled beneath him when he slumped to the floor too.

I really loved this latest Season overall. I loved the scene in the final episode where Sam's getting re-aquainted with Bran. When Bran told him about becoming the Three-Eyed Raven Sam's reaction was priceless.

GOT is definitely one of the very best shows ever made imo.

user104658

Given consideration I have to go with Littlefinger too. The death itself was the least dramatic but the set-up, even though I saw it coming, was perfect for that character.

I've just watched each of these death scenes again and realised how well done it is :joker:.

Ramsay knew he was going to be executed, just not that it would be Sansa / the dogs, but he knew he was done.

Joffrey had no idea and whilst he died horribly, it was pretty quick, and he probably had no idea what was going on or that he had been poisoned, just "urgh ouch pain dead".

Frey had a brief "wtf" moment but again, it was just a blur of confusion and then dead.

Littlefinger on the other hand... he's been manipulating everyone for years, he thought he knew the game inside it, hiding in the shadows, smirking about his own Machiavellian brilliance... and he's stood at the side as Sansa is speaking, eyes twinkling like "hee hee I;ve done it again" and like I said - even though I knew it was coming - when she suddenly glances over at him after her speech about treason and betrayal and says "...Lord Baelish". His whole world crumbles, his entire understanding of himself and the world drops out from under his feet. He briefly tries to find a foothold but starts to realise everyone is onto him, then he starts to panic and weasle his way oujt of it, begging and pleading. The execution itself is quick, clean, emotionless and without fuss... like someone swatting an annoying bug.

Niamh.
11-09-2017, 10:12 AM
Yeah but whilst Little finger was sneaky and manipulated everyone he wasn't cruel for the sake of being cruel and eventhough Little finger was annoying you had to admire what he accomplished without ever getting his hands dirty or arousing any suspicion. Basically I just didn't hate him as much as I hated Ramsay and Joffery so his death wasn't as satisfying.

Also, iirc the only person who he actually killed himself was Lysa and she was a rotten old **** herself anyway and deserved to be ****ed out the moon door
