I started one of these about 20 years ago and still haven't finished it.

Only way I can do them is to peel off the bits and stick them back on :D I can always do one or 2 sides pretty quickly though, but after that nope...

i went to the rubik's cube society for a while at uni last year

my fastest time was about the full hour we were there

There are algorithms you can learn so that it always works. Obviously this boy knows some advance next level **** (you can fix every cube in 21 moves or less I think). My best is about 40 seconds-ish. I'd imagine I've forgot most of the algorithms now though :(
