The Sunday newspapers are sure to have some bits of info on Big Brother 8 whether it be more rumours about the start date, new pictures of the house, a picture of the supposed logo. I think it's getting to the point people are desperate to here anything about BB8.

Does anyone know what time the online newspaper sites update their websites?

Big Brother are being very secretive this year, and I think this is good. I'd rather all the secrets like housemates, be reveled on opening night. But the eye and date should be sometime next week, like next Friday or something. Hopefully!

Calling all big brother fans! If my sources are correct, we will start to see the first proper rumours and maybe some spoilers as of monday! Don't hold me to this, but my sources predicted russel's quit and bb7's hm return days before they occured in the past. They might just be right again.

Just because there isn't anything on the front page, doesn't mean there won't be inside. Plus newspapers like the NOTW don't have their front page on the Sky News site so they could have BB news on the cover (though I doubt it).

The producers of Big Brother have no need to release information/publicise especially not for this season, and especially not this much in advance of the start date.

The last impression they made was that of the 'racism row;' therefore the producers will want to keep this series quite quiet, as any big, bold, announcement of a new series will result in some sections of the media giving them bad press, calling for the end of big brother.

Moreover, last year the adverts were very minimal. The billboards included no start date, nor channel, nor title, but only the programs logo. The producers must feel that, especially because of the heightened publicity of this years celebrity big brother, advertisements for this coming series ought not to be anything other than sleight, and hinting.

Therefore I wouldnt be surprised if we don't see any adverts til the 25th (bearing in mind a 30th may/1st june start date.)

I would also not be surprised if there was no press release this year.

BB'S TOW JOB

' ... This year's show begins on Channel 4 on June 1 and will last three months.

It has been renamed Big Brother: The Battle and will have a Heaven and Hell theme - Heaven being the luxury house and Hell the caravan. The source added: "Heaven and Hell will be within spitting distance of each other. Those taking part will literally see how the other half live.

"Some housemates will live like kings, but the other half will be stuck outside come rain or shine." ...'

Uh???????? I am my own source, fooool!!!! I was stating my own opinion; the purpose of a press release, i would imagine, is to alert the general public about something, while, for the press, it sells newspapers...firstly, the press coverage in january generated enough publicity that there is no need for a press release, secondly, the producers know they are not going to win round any more fans, and that those who are already fans, do not need a press release to inform them of something they already know is going to happen. Thirdly, the producers probably want to avoid the press for a bit, after the backlash in january.

The tabloids may be desperate for some concrete big brother news to report on, but i doubt the producers of big brother care.

Hint Dont call sunshine30 a fool.

I mean not to be offensive, but i thought it was a bit dim of 'sunshine30' to presume i was quoting someone, considering that what i said was definitely not claiming to be fact...note, for instance, the words "i" and "think"...

You called me a fool ? so read it carefully:
1) i don't know if you read the rules but it's not really cool to call someone like that.
2) i wanted a link because with all the liars on the forums, we don't belive anybody, and you don't precise it was your opinion.
3) and it's not because i don't share your fuc**n opinion that i'm a fool ! ok ?

So, have a great time on tibb !

I don't have a scanner, so these pics taken with my webcam will have to do. It's black and white anyway, so I have no idea what colours they used for the eye.
