Lewis and Ant are the final 2, only one can win and tibb will decide who wins, i pray that you all vote on who you think played better and game related rather than personal.
Ant's Speech
My gameplan? I didn’t really have one going into it to be honest. My gameplan was very spontaneous. I didn’t know how the game would work, and I was very confused for the first round or two. I was, however, approached by Riley for an alliance, and Daniel, Lewis, and Cal for an alliance at the very start, however with the team twist and Daniel and Lewis being on the other team, that alliance only started in Round 2, when Cal was already gone </3.
My plan was to follow Riley’s orders until I gained independence, and of course assist Lewis and Daniel (who, as you can tell, were my end-game alliance). Riley was the reason I won Round 2’s veto and therefore was saved from eviction, leaving Lee and Marc up. Amy and I are friends outside of the game (as was Hayden and I, but I was warned by Riley that he was a massive threat – which as Riley mentioned in his game plan, was a way to knock him out, before James knocked me out – but more on that later) so I decided to message her and side with her for this eviction to prove my loyalty. Let’s just say our votes didn’t make too much of a difference. Anyway, at this point I had links with Daniel, Lewis, Riley, and Amy, which I thought was pretty solid.
It was after Round 2 we were told the hidden claw was in a fan thread made in 2016. I had already scoured the obscure fanclubs, such as Honey G’s, and I believe Luke said it would be from a BBUK series from 2016 – so I started with BB18’s. Thank the lords I did, because I found it in Laura’s appreciation thread. I figure this would be the perfect chance to test loyalties – with Amy, Riley, Lewis, and Daniel. As far as I’m aware, Lewis, Daniel, and Amy didn’t refer to it at all to anyone else, however Riley did (but this only came out during Round 5) to Hayden (I’ll elaborate on this later… again lmao). Riley had told me Hayden pushed Josh to nominate me, so obviously I used the power to steal Josh’s HoH (I think I was gonna do it anyway since Josh did no work for that round and he did seem to be against Amy, who I had loyalty with – even though Hayden would’ve arguably been a better replacement to me back then? But thank god I didn’t ).It was a shame I had to use the power then, as Morgan accidentally sent the wrong list, whereas Hayden (and Josh I guess ) didn’t and sent his later – if we had the damn brackets we’d have won HoH </3. The power had to be used by round 4, and advised by Riley (and the fact I was likely to be nommed by Josh) I had no other choice to steal Josh’s HoH and really gun for it in Round 4 (as I’m sure you’re aware!).
Riley suggested I nominate Robert since he was clearly popular, beating forum-loved Jamie in the TiBB’s housemate choice, and James as a pawn, since who would evict James over Robert? James was new, had barely contributed, and didn’t pose a threat – this is why I couldn’t give you a reason, James. And I can only assume Riley instructed I nominate James to sow the seeds of rivalry which would cause James orchestrating my eviction – but obviously, that didn’t happen. James then tried to expose me by pointing out the social group I was in ( ) and I thought this would make us targets and next to be evicted but… obviously it didn’t? I was very suspicious of James after this, and I had a sneaky suspicion he wasn’t alone as he seemed – and I was right, he had a bigger alliance (and also the least successful, given the fact our alliance picked them off one by one… or by 2, if Morgan and Josh’s is any to go by). But yeah, it was James, and clearly everyone agreed Marc was a bigger threat, hence Marc’s eviction. But Marc pleaded me to encourage people to keep him in. Riley told me to ignore him, and ignore him I did. I’m pretty sure that’s where the bad blood started (sorry Marc I feel like you’re mad at me ). Marc did theorise that Amy, Hayden, and Riley were in an alliance, and I could sorta see it? At least, I believed Riley wasn’t fully aligned with me, and I became confused as to why Riley wanted Hayden out yet I knew they talked about nominations during Round 3, even if it was just to see who he was putting up. Regardless, it seemed baseless, so on I went, not acknowledging his comment.
Onto Round 4. Talking with the amazing host that is Luke all night pretty much made sure I knew his sleeping pattern – he always fell asleep around 3am and woke up at around 9am. So that’s what I did. I stayed up til 3am to hunt eggs, and then I woke up at half 10 (my alarm was set for 9 </3), but luckily he hadn’t posted too many eggs. I won by a landslide despite being partially inactive for the last hour or two, and I’m still bitter I wouldn’t have had to have done all that work if the bracket was included on that song in round 3 Same 2 nominees as the previous round, same drama. Robert didn’t even know I don’t think, and James was just… James Anyway, Robert was evicted, for the fact he was a bigger threat.
Round 5? Ah, Round 5. I knew my luck had to run out sometime, and I was stuck between Amy and Daniel. Daniel and I were closer and I couldn’t just betray a well-established alliance despite how lovely Amy was, hence why I voted for her (and the encouragement of a person or two but this is about me ). Luckily, it was a fake eviction, so Amy stayed. Amy nominated Lewis in Round 6, which again put pressure on me, with them both being in my alliances. But before Amy replaced Lewis during veto, something interesting came up…
Hayden seemed to warm up to me after I didn’t steal his HoH, and trusted I wouldn’t nom him if I won Round 4 (even though that was exactly our intention sorry lovely ), but I was conflicted, since he was this big gameplayer I was warned about? After I saw evidence to his claims of Riley, well, playing everyone, I decided to side with Hayden, forming a 5 person alliance, rather than me, Daniel and Lewis being separate from Amy. Given James’ vendetta and desire to nom me and Hayden when he wins HoH (but that just wasn’t realistic…) we decided to vote him out. This gave us a 5 to 4 advantage over everyone else, and after James’ eviction, this went to 5 to 3.
Riley and I won (well, I was given it…) HoH, which was perfect! I nominated his alliance members, and he nominated mine (I warned Lewis and Daniel, and Hayden since he was clearly gonna get ‘backdoored’ at veto by Riley). We exchanged battleship co-ordinates for veto, mainly to see if how it’d pan out. I decided not to give anyone Riley’s co-ordinates to anyone else in case it backfired on me and they made it obvious I gave them his co-ordinates. Riley ‘accidentally’ sunk my battleship (sorry, I’m just never gonna believe it, but the fact you told Morgan mine without telling me you wanted to just proved you had loyalties elsewhere – especially as you wanted me to get Lewis’ co-ordinates despite being alliance with him? God knows, especially since if Lewis won veto he could veto himself and Riley could replace him with Hayden… but it all worked out in the end). Riley couldn’t be trusted anymore, and honestly, after his entire squad was gone, it’d have to be him gone next – no matter what he did, he would’ve always followed the rest of his alliance out the door. With Riley, Morgan, and Josh all unable to vote (and the Bad Girls, ofc) it came down to Hayden and Amy – and as they were alliance with Lewis/Daniel it was pretty obvious who was going. But not as Riley’s eviction, of course. The alliance teamed up together and we all narrowed it down to 4 faces we didn’t know, for which we asked for clues. We got #20 wrong, but what did it matter? Amy was HoH and nominated Riley, and while I was nommed by TiBB, veto was easy – even if I only beat Riley by mere seconds (I personally blame the number ‘hunt’ but ah well).
Riley was out of the picture, and our alliance remained in the top 5 (ironic, as we were the most open and known). This is when I stopped trying to think strategically and rather more morally (lol), but nomming one person from each alliance section – Amy and Daniel. Very difficult choice, but Hayden winning veto meant Lewis went up. I was upset regardless if one of us were to go, and I was upset Daniel went at my hands. Thankfully, he understood, and if we ever compete on another forum game I pray I don’t do him as wrong.
Ahh the final 4. I sent my list of answers to Lewis, but it was too late – so I consequently sent mine in as they were, as Lewis would probably wonder why I threw HoH at such a crucial moment. Somehow, I won, and decided to save Lewis to sorta redeem what I did to Daniel, and as I believed Amy vs Hayden was a fairer fight. I eliminated Hayden as I did promise Amy I’d take her to the final 3 after I nominated her and she survived, but Amy followed shortly after (sadly she would’ve been an amazing winner!). Which leads us here. Me vs Lewis.
Why should I win? I won the most competitions – I won veto twice and was HoH five times (not that 2 of them count… but anyway). I’m younger than Lewis and the prize money will ensure that I can pay for university to study medicine and hopefully find a cure for my disease! Also, I’m gay and disabled so I’d be an amazing role model to gay and/or disabled people! Also appearing on TiBB helped inspire and educate the world on my terrible condition . If I won, I could amplify this and hopefully be cured :’). But honestly? Lewis would be a better winner. Overall more consistent, a good friend, a good player, and didn’t need drama to be relevant and make it far, unlike me.
That’s not to say you shouldn’t vote for me though the GBP vote **** winners nearly all the time, so why don’t you? X
In all honesty, it’d be great to win for me – I’ve never played a forum game (as hasn’t Lewis) before and the fact I was to be so successful is a win in itself. I’ve stayed loyal to the people in my alliances (well, the people who deserved loyalty) and managed to help eliminate the opposing alliance one by one – which certainly wasn’t easy for us (obviously this reason applies to Lewis’ win <3 ). If I won, it’d certainly feel like all the sleep I lost to collect eggs weren’t all in vain, as if how bad I felt for nominating and evicting fellow friends was justified, and all those hours searching for that goddamn claw wasn’t all for nothing. I’d definitely say I’ve been one of the strongest players and I did provide (not only for the people in my alliance but also for you – the viewers! James vs Ant and Ant vs Riley were definitely good to view, and I personally think how I handled the final 4 would’ve been hilarious to view from that outside ), as I posted 494 times in the competition thread (proving I added a lot to the game – that’s 19 of 221 pages all by me!) and if that’s what you look for in a winner, choose me!
Lewis's speech
This being my first ever TiBB game I went into it a bit naive and had no idea what to expect
I also hadn't really spoken to anyone on the forum properly so I had no idea who to start an alliance with or team with up - so I just left it and hoped for the best
Before the game even started Riley started talking to me and asked we stand by each other so I said yes and went along with it
I was also randomly put in an alliance with Cal, Daniel and Ant where we also just agreed to stick together - so I also just went along with this
Thankfully I won the first veto meaning I had a round to work out where my alliances lay
Anyway rounds went on and everything was fine - I wasn't involved in any drama and my alliances seem to win a lot of things (honestly I can't even mind what happened it was like a month ago)
I was then informed by anonymous sources that Hayden was the biggest threat in the game so that I had to try and get him out - but then we formed an alliance with him and Amy and they both became friends and stood by me as did I them
Then when it came to final weeks and it was only my alliance members left I knew I may be a target as Amy and Hayden were very close and Ant and Daniel were very close and I was almost the outsider
However I managed every week to convince Amy or Ant to save me and I got to final 2 so there ya go x
Honestly I'm just rambling and don't really know what I'm saying cause I'm tired but pretty much if there's any reason I should win is because -
1) I didn't win any HoHs - that might seem like a reason against me but I shows how I never held the power in my hands but had the power to influence people's votes to save me and was nice enough to people to avoid being nominated most weeks - and managed to get Ant to save me in both the last weeks
2) I was extremely loyal to everyone I said I would be - I never once nominated someone that had my word or tried to evict them (no game plan to get my friends out to save myself kinda thing)
3) I DIDNT DELAY THE FINAL BY 3 DAYS BY BEING A CHEEKY BITCH
4) I never won a care package so at least give me tbis
