This has been on my mind for ages, so I would thought like asking you. Should Friday Live Interviews move to E4 at 10.00pm, or just stay at Channel 4?

For C4's sake, I have a feeling that this would boost E4's ratings up the roof, getting between 2 million to 5 million viewers each Friday night, IMO.
But, I like it on Channel 4 for some reason. Maybe I feel right at home, without flicking the channels. Or maybe it is because I get to talk to more people who watched the interview, because C4 is much more mainstream than E4.

Imagine the ratings E4 would have had during Adele's eviction during BB3 lol. Maybe 5 million.

God you're obsessed with Adele. :conf2:

Um, I personally think it should stay.

Channel 4 definitely. Although I do think they should make them appear on BBBM afterwards.

Don't they have the Press Conference after the show? Or is that later in the night?

In what way am I "obssessed" with Adele? I was only refering it it because it got one of the highest viewed evictions of all time.

I think you've brung her up before, and there's someone on my MSN who reminds me a lot of you, he always brought up Adele's eviction. At the time of the post I probably wasn't thinking straight, thinking it was you.

They should stay, and will always stay on C4. They will get far more viewers aswell, why would they move it to E4 and get 2M when they can get up to 8M+ on C4?

Well, what I was thinking was that because E4's ratings a down, they would boost them.

But I prefer C4.

They could postpone the press conference until the evictee has made an appearance on BBBM.

With more and more people purchasing freeview boxes/other digital sources, there could well be more and more channel 4 material transferred to digital channels...

on the other hand, with the main big brother show remaining on channel 4 on a friday, it would prove smoother and more sequential to keep both sides of the eviction show on the same channel...

what may change matters however, is the fact that friday shows will no longer be live...

E4 is doing quite well, but not as much as it used to, with competition from Sky One and ITV2.
It is now very rare or quite rare for E4 to ever get near 2 million or 3 million, let alone 1. The season finales of ER and Friends in June 2002 got 1.2 million and 1.7 million respectively, with the later making a great return on E4 in January 2003 with 2.9 million.
Even the live feed for Big Brother isn't as god as it used to be, usually getting between 100,000 viewers to 500,000 viewers.
E4's share is usually between 1% to 2%, compared to the 10% to 15% it got a few years ago, with the help of Big Brother, ER and Friends.
