That's not what they say though.
Americans say "alooominum". They miss out the second "i" altogether.

I say it the same way as this (that's how I was going to type it out) but I can't figure out which way it is on the poll. :think:
I assumed the first one was like 'ca-rib-ian' and the second was 'car-ib-ian' so basically you pronounce it as 'carrrrr'
